No doubt, news that famed hot-headed actor Alec Baldwin was forced to undergo anger management classes will be met with a chorus of “It’s about time.”

This came as as a result of a confrontation in November over a New York City parking spot.

The Hollywood actor was accused of attempting to punch another driver, Wojciech Cieszkowski, during a quarrel outside his apartment building in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village in November.

Baldwin’s lawyer had previously stated that the former “30 Rock” actor will be vindicated by footage of the incident.

Baldwin pled guilty to harassment in the second degree, despite his repeated denying that he threw any punches during the brawl.

All other significant allegations against the former “30 Rock” actor were dismissed.

Baldwin agreed to take a one-day anger management program as part of his plea deal. The other attempted assault charge will be dismissed after the investigation is done. The deal was announced during a brief hearing in a Manhattan courthouse.

Baldwin’s lawyer claimed his client pled guilty to a violation, not a crime, on Wednesday.

Baldwin must also pay a $120 fine in addition to the anger management program.

If Baldwin completes the course, the case file will be sealed, which means that evidence can be destroyed or returned while the file is still open.

In a tweet, Baldwin expressed his dissatisfaction with the media’s coverage of the case.

“I pled guilty to a charge of harassment, a violation. In that bldg today there are 3 murder trials scheduled, one involving a white supremacist who killed someone in Times Square. All the press was outside the courtroom I was in,” he wrote, in an apparent allusion to the 2017 case of James Harris Jackson.

People on Twitter shared images of the incident with Cieszkowski, in which Baldwin appeared to be the aggressor. Baldwin has been involved in several high-profile altercations in the streets of Manhattan over the years.

“How come Alec Baldwin always gets away with it?” wondered Andrea Peyser of the New York Post in a piece.

The case has been rescheduled to March 27.
