Margot Robbie has spoken out about recent reports that she was seen crying outside of Cara Delevingne’s home.

The rumors began in September, when Delevingne displayed “erratic” behavior on a private plane belonging to Jay-Z and was later seen getting back into the car she had arrived in without her shoes on.

This prompted speculation that Robbie, who had recently been seen leaving Delevingne’s home, was distressed.

However, in a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Robbie clarified that the photographs of her were taken outside an Airbnb that she was renting, not Delevingne’s home.

She also denied that she had been crying, explaining that she had simply had something in her eye.

Robbie’s mother even called her to ask if she and Delevingne were okay, to which Robbie replied, “I’m like, ‘First of all, yes and yes… And second of all, I’m not at Cara’s house – I’m outside an Airbnb that I was renting for five days!

“And I’m not crying! I had something in my eye. I’m trying to grab my face mask, trying to hold a coffee cup, and I couldn’t get a hair out of my eye.”

In October, Delevingne and Robbie were reportedly involved in an incident with a paparazzi photographer in Argentina.

Although Robbie was unable to comment on the incident due to ongoing legal issues, she did reveal that she “could have been” hurt during the incident.

Robbie also spoke about the lack of protection for public figures in other countries and the dangers posed by photographers.

She stated, “If my mum dies in a car accident because you wanted a photo of me going in the grocery shop, or you knock my nephew off a bike – for what? For a photo? It’s dangerous but still weirdly nothing feels like it changes.”

The actress emphasized the importance of rules protecting public figures, citing her own experiences in Los Angeles, where her family has been pursued by photographers.

She explained, “Rules on protecting public figures in other countries are not the same as those in Los Angeles, where I reside.”
