The highly anticipated film Babylon, starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, has finally released its trailer.

The film, set in 1920s Hollywood, follows the transition of the film industry from silent films to talkies. Alongside Pitt and Robbie, the film also stars Mexican actor Diego Calva.

The trailer, which is just two minutes long, is packed with action and visual spectacle.

It features extravagant dance sequences, vintage cars racing across deserts, Robbie as a rising star surrounded by photographers and journalists, and scenes of drug use and its consequences.

There are also shots of Hollywood films being made, battle scenes, and incredible costumes. The trailer also showcases Pitt and Robbie in a variety of outfits, and doesn’t give away much about the plot.

The trailer ends with Robbie’s character at a black-tie pool party, shouting, “Who wants to see me fight a fking snake?”, to which Pitt’s character responds, “Fk yeah,” and the rest of the party cheers.

Another fan praised the film’s director, Damien Chazelle, saying, “Damien Chazelle just keeps proving his talent time and time again.”

Chazelle, known for his writing and directing work on La La Land and Whiplash, both of which were awarded Oscars, has written and directed Babylon as well.

The film also boasts a star-studded cast, which includes Jean Smart, Li Jun Li, Tobey Maguire, Samara Weaving, Olivia Wilde, Katherine Waterston, and Jeff Garlin.

Robbie, who has been causing a stir on the internet recently with photos of her in her 80s Barbie get-up for the upcoming Greta Gerwig-directed film, in which she will star alongside Ryan Gosling, is also generating buzz for her role in Babylon.

Pitt, who recently starred in the August release of Bullet Train, a comic-book-style action film about five assassins on a train from Tokyo to Kyoto, is also generating anticipation for his role in Babylon.

The Standard described Bullet Train as “only a bit over two hours, but you do start to wonder if it will ever reach the terminus.”
