Thomas Markle, who has been alienated from Meghan for years, is now accusing Winfrey of “using” the Sussexes for her own business and “taking advantage” of Harry while he is “weak.”

In a new interview with “60 Minutes Australia,” Mr. Markle said, “Oprah Winfrey, for one, I think Oprah Winfrey is playing Harry and Meghan. I think she’s using them to build her network and build her new shows. I think she’s taking advantage of a very weakened man and getting him to say things that you just shouldn’t be saying on television.”

“She will disagree of course, and she may even sue me, I don’t care,” Thomas continued.

“But the bottom line is she is working Harry.”

When Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah was televised in March of this year, it sent shockwaves across the Royal Family.

During the discussion, Meghan and Harry leveled a number of allegations against the palace, including racism and the fact that Meghan’s pleas for treatment with mental health concerns were ignored before they stepped down as senior royals last year.

Thomas expressed his desire to sit down with his daughter Meghan and reconcile before he dies, which he says will happen soon.

“July 18, I’ll be 77 years old. Most of the Markle men don’t make it much past 80,” he said.

“Yeah, there’s good chance I might never see my grandchildren. I’m not looking for pity. I’m just saying that’s a reality.”

“I’m not an ogre… I’d love to talk to her.”

Meghan gave birth to his granddaughter Lilibet Diana just over a week ago.

Markle claims he found out about Lilibet’s birth via Harry and Meghan’s public announcement, which he found upsetting.

He added: “My congratulations Harry and Meghan.

“I found out (Lilbet’s birth) after the face and I have to deal with that and that’s okay. There’s always disappointment here.

“Lili is perfect and the other thing that makes me happy is that there is a lot more Markle blood in the Royal Family.”

During her March interview with Winfrey, Meghan spoke out about her troubled relationship with Thomas, focusing on his relationship with the press, which he called a betrayal.

Thomas Markle also chastised the “cold” pair for refusing to see him in the chat, despite the fact that he lives barely 70 miles away from their opulent £11 million house in Santa Barbara.

“I’m not bitter, I’m confused. I just don’t have the answer. I want the answer,” Thomas Markle said from his home in Rosarito, Mexico.

“If I had done something terribly wrong, that would be fine, but I haven’t.”
