Palace courtiers have sincere worries that  Meghan Markle may be booed on her next public outing in the UK

Opinions on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, their intention to stand down as senior members of the Royal Family, and their acts during the past year are deeply polarized in the United Kingdom and across the globe.

While certain people sympathize with the pair and their difficulties, some believe that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have treated the Royal Family poorly and have tried to have their cake and eat it as well.

These divergences were exacerbated after Harry and Meghan offered Oprah Winfrey a blunt interview regarding their treatment by the Royal Family and the British tabloid press.

According to recent sources, Meghan Markle’s return to the United Kingdom may be met with hostility.

In July, Prince Harry, 36, is set to return to the United Kingdom to reveal Princess Diana’s 60th birthday statue.

Though it is yet to be reported if Meghan would accompany her husband on the tour, sources are worried.

Insiders fear the public’s response to the Duchess of Sussex attending an event in Britain amid heightened tensions after her interview, according to royal commentator Dan Wooton.

“There are genuine concerns that she could be booed at an event attended by members of the public given her current unpopularity in the UK as a result of the Oprah interview.”

Meghan and Harry made a series of explosive charges against the royal family during their conversation last month, including that an unidentified member made a racist remark regarding Archie’s skin color.

When Meghan said she was suicidal, she claims she was not given support, while Harry claims Prince Charles has stopped answering his phone calls and that his brother and father are ‘trapped.’

Although many applauded the pair for speaking out, their support in UK polls dropped as the monarchy was thrown into disarray.

The tide seems to have shifted against Harry and Meghan once more after the death of Prince Philip earlier this month, when a YouGov survey revealed that the couple’s popularity rating in the UK has fallen to an all-time low.

Prince William and Harry will unveil a statue of their late mother in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace.

However, while tensions within the Royal Family are said to be high, Meghan’s plans to cross the Atlantic on this day are still not clear.
