Gwyneth Paltrow is taking a trip down memory lane with Vogue’s “Life in Looks.” The Goop founder reflected on her most famous looks as well as her equally famous romance with Brad Pitt.

The actress recently analyzed 13 of her most famous outfits for Vogue’s Life in Looks YouTube series, and one of the first images shown was a 1996 shot of her and then-fiancé Brad Pitt taken in New York City. The two are photographed hand-in-hand, with Paltrow dressed in the decade’s uniform: trousers and a leather jacket.

Paltrow, 48, revealed the 1996 outfit at Vogue’s Life in Looks series on Wednesday, April 28. “I believe I was on set with Brad Pitt,” she said. “He was so nice and we were a very ’90s couple. I know that the Calvin Klein leather jacket is one of my favorite pieces”.

When it comes to the exact style, she noted, “I’ve always been a very intuitive dresser. I’ve always dressed like this, with jeans and a white T-shirt, basically. And so, obviously the shape of those jeans and T-shirts have changed over time, but I never gave a lot of thought to my outfits.”

Pitt also paid Paltrow a visit on the set of her first Vogue cover shot, she said. They dated from 1994 to 1997 and were engaged for a short time. She moved on after their breakup with Ben Affleck, whom she dated until 2000. In 2003, Paltrow married Chris Martin, and currently she is married to Brad Falchuk.

“Brad Pitt was visiting me that day, so I think he’s in one of those photos, if I’m correct.”

Meanwhile, the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star married Jennifer Aniston in 2000, but the couple divorced in 2005. In 2014, he married Angelina Jolie. In September 2016, Jolie, 45, filed for divorce. The Mr. & Mrs. Smith costars share children Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12.

Paltrow stole the show in a Ralph Lauren bubblegum pink gown she wore to the 71st Academy Awards in 1999. The gown became so well-known that it now has its own Wikipedia page dedicated to it.

“So this is the Ralph Lauren bubblegum pink taffeta ball gown that I wore when I was nominated for an Oscar in 1999,” Paltrow said, smiling.

When she first saw the gorgeous shot, she shared a sweet little fact that drew the actress to tears.

“I had borrowed this Harry Winston earrings and necklace for the Oscars,” she recalled. “And then, after I won my dad as a present surprised me with them,” she said, holding back tears. “Now, I’m gonna cry. So, that was very sweet.”

The Goop founder previously stated that she and Pitt remain on good terms following their divorce.

“And I’m friendly with Brad Pitt. I don’t have any really bad blood,” she revealed in her Harper’s Bazaar February 2020 cover story.

Bruce Paltrow, Gwyneth’s father, died in October 2002 after a fight with mouth cancer. The actress also said that she wore the treasured ring to her 2018 wedding to producer Brad Falchuk “as a way of keeping him there with us.” in an extraordinarily emotional moment.

“I wore the earrings and necklace when I got married to Brad, in homage to my dad and as a way of keeping him there with us,” she explained.
