An insider reveals to Page Six that Selena Gomez and Orlando Bloom, who is now dating Katy Perry, were getting extremely close at a Las Vegas nightclub on Friday.

The two were all over each other on a couch at Light in Mandalay Bay! Although their arms were wrapped around one other and they appeared to be making out in one photo, Selena returned to her room alone, according to TMZ.

Sources in the club tell TMZ, “Orlando was a surprise, late addition to the party… and made a major impression when he got there,” although, “Selena absolutely went back to her room alone.”

“They spent a solid hour together and there was tons of security in front of her table,” says the source. “It was just the two of them, her friends were on the dance floor. It got a little heated. They were talking closely.”

Orlando and Katy were recently photographed together after the Met Gala on May 2, indicating that their relationship is still going strong. Remember, Selena has known the actor for a long time, and it’s not obvious whether or not they’re kissing in these images. They do, however, appear to be quite close. According to People, it was just a friendly kiss on the cheek from Orlando. In any case, Katy’s pals may have been right all along about Orlando being a player.

Katy, 31, may not be concerned by the internet allegations regarding Orlando and Selena, but she was spotted with old confidante Rihanna yesterday.

According to a source close to RiRi, she is “absolutely appalled” that Selena was spotted all over Katy’s man “no matter what the context was.” She thinks it’s nasty and impolite.

‘Rihanna’s been reminding Katy of what a bad bitch she is, how gorgeous she is and how she’s the prize – not Orlando! Rihanna’s even bashed Selena.’

Bloom and Gomez had been dating for a long time, with suspicions of their relationship circulating in 2014 following Bloom’s public battle with Gomez’s boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

Bloom later took a swipe at Gomez’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber in July 2014, after Bieber allegedly provoked him by revealing that he had slept with Bloom’s ex-wife, Australian Victoria’s Secret Model Miranda Kerr.

Meanwhile, Katy has a feud with Selena’s BFF, Taylor Swift, 26, and despite the fact that the “Hands To Myself” singer has stated that she is friends with both women, we doubt Katy would be overjoyed after seeing these images! “I love Katy. I just talked to her,” the 23-year-old admitted in July. “I didn’t talk to her about [Taylor], but I just talked to her. She’s awesome.”

According to Hollywood Life, Bieber is unhappy over the photos, but worry not: he’s been getting some mature romantic advise from rapper Chris Brown, who “explained to Biebs that Selena’s only trying to make him jealous because she’s truly in love with him… He told Justin not to say anything about the pics on social media and under no circumstances is he to call Selena. The first one who calls loses.”
