Charlize Theron admitted that she fell “madly in love” with Will Smith on the set of their new film Hancock.

When Will Smith returned the PDAs and kissed Charlize on the back of her neck at the London premiere, it sparked a lot of speculation about their relationship. During a visit on MTV TRL to promote Hancock, Will and Charlize resumed their love fest.

Will portrays a boozed-up superhero who has gotten everyone fed up with him in the comedy.

The two, who had previously worked together in the failed film Bagger Vance, became instant friends while filming the heroic narrative.

“We didn’t get the chance to work that much together and yet it took us all of about five minutes to really fall madly in love with each other,” the 32-year-old blonde remembered.

“We just hit it off instantly and were always messing around. There was something about me and him. We’re very similar people,” he Oscar winner says, adding that they share a “brother and sister” relationship” in which tormenting each other is a way of life.

“He jokes with me all the time. He goes, ‘Charlize, this is going to be a little different for you, because people are actually going to see this movie,” she said.

“Then I’m like, ‘I know, Will. But you know what, I have a little statue at home called an Academy Award.'”

Both Charlize and Will have long-term relationships. Will is dating Jada Pinkett Smith, while Charlize has been married to Irish actor Stuart Townsend for seven years and wears a Victorian ring he gave her.
