Katy Perry falls into a cake at the MTV Awards, Slides All Over The Stage
At the MTV Latin America Awards, Katy Perry stole the show, but not with her singing.
The singer belly-flopped into a big birthday cake at the end of her Quinceaera-themed performance, only to underestimate how slippery she would be when drenched in cake mix and frosting.
The star took a second dive, this time into the hard stage, due to icing splatters…
On her way down, the I Kissed A Girl singer tried to get a hold of one of her bandmates, but her efforts proved futile, as she fell to the ground in spectacular manner.

Katy handled the situation well, nonchalantly laughing it off.
She’ll be looking to forget about the scene when she takes over as presenter of this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards next month.
Katy is presently prepping for her first hosting assignment at the MTV Europe Music Awards, which will take place in Liverpool later this month.
She has been nominated in two categories: best new act and most addictive song.
This is the singer’s first time hosting an awards show.
Perry said: ‘To follow in the footsteps of previous hosts Christina Aguilera, Tom Jones, P Diddy and Snoop Dogg at this prestigious event is an incredible honour – do they know what they are getting into?
‘I just hope that I don’t spill my cocktail!’
