Meghan Markle never planned to remain a member of the Royal Family, according to a royal expert.

According to royal biographer Phil Dampier, Harry and Meghan’s latest charges about other members of the Firm are an “excuse” to justify their desire to quit in the first place.

The Duchess of Sussex, 39, quit as a senior royal in March 2020 and subsequently accused the royal family of “racism” and “falsehoods” in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

He said: “I don’t buy this that they didn’t help to protect Meghan and I don’t buy she was driven out by racism.

“I don’t think her heart was really in it.

“When you look at some of the projects she’s got involved with and they were seemingly planning a couple of years ago.

“I personally think she never intended to stay in the royal family.

“I’m afraid that blaming members of the royal family and courtiers and how they were treated is just an excuse for what they have done and to justify what they’ve done.”

Meanwhile, Fox News claims that the Sussexes will see the royal family again in 2022, when they return to the United Kingdom to commemorate Queen Elizabeth’s silver jubilee.

Meghan stated that Archie was denied the title of prince because of “concerns and conversations” about “how dark” his complexion would be once he was born.

She said: “They didn’t want him to be a prince or princess, not knowing what the gender would be, which would be different from protocol, and said that he wasn’t going to receive security.

“In those months when I was pregnant we have in tandem the conversation of, you won’t be given security, not gonna be given a title and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”

However, the 39-year-old refused to reveal who began the talks, claiming that doing so would be “damaging” to them.

However, Oprah Winfrey disclosed that the statement concerning Archie’s complexion was made by someone other than the Queen or the Duke of Edinburgh.

Harry, 36, also discussed his relationship with his father, Prince Charles, stating he felt “let down” and that he was financially cut off following the so-called Megxit.

Harry stated that he went into “fight or flight mode” and was “all over the place mentally”

He also talked about his sorrow and anguish after his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, died, stating he suffered from panic attacks and turned to drink and drugs.

Harry and Meghan, who already have a two-year-old boy named Archie, are expecting a baby girl this summer.

On Valentine’s Day, they confirmed Meghan’s pregnancy, and during an appearance with Oprah, they revealed the baby would be a girl.

Aside from their contentious Oprah interview, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been keeping busy with other business pursuits. Meghan just published a children’s book, while Harry just re-teamed with Oprah for a mental health docuseries titled “The Me You Can’t See,” in which he blasted the royal lifestyle once more.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have moved into a £11 million estate in Santa Barbara, California, and have inked multi-million dollar contracts with Netflix and Spotify.
