Although most of Brad Pitt’s work in the film business is well-known, many people are unaware that he is also a producer of Lego Masters. The competition series, which premiered in February 2020, pits individuals against one other to discover who can build the most spectacular structures out of Legos. Contestants are have to work under strict limitations, forcing them to put their abilities to the test.

As previously said, Brad Pitt and Legos are not two things that most people associate with one other. Brad Pitt hasn’t talked publicly about his participation with Lego Masters, but his involvement makes a lot more sense than most people think. Brad runs his own production company, Plan B Entertainment, and he’s always on the lookout for good ideas to create. Plan B Entertainment has created a number of well-known films and television series throughout the years. Moonlight and 12 Years a Slave, both Academy Award winners, are among the company’s credits.

Lego Masters is the company’s first competition program, and it’s likely that they were merely seeking for something fresh to add to Plan B’s portfolio. So far, the decision has shown to be wise. Lego Masters has sparked a lot of interest, particularly among Lego builders. Furthermore, the show has been nominated for a number of prizes, including Primetime Emmys. Given the popularity of Lego Masters, there’s a potential Plan B will decide to develop more game/competition shows in the future.

LEGO Masters Competition Series With Brad Pitt Producing Ordered at Fox

In recent years, reality television contests have risen to new heights, encompassing everything from cosplay to cake designing to glass blowing. We can now add Lego building to that list. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox has given Lego Masters, an upcoming reality TV series, a series order.

In the series, 12 two-person teams compete in challenging brick-building challenges. Until the finale, when the three best teams compete for the ultimate Lego trophy, one couple will advance to the next round in each episode. The exact number of episodes has yet to be decided.

In 2017, Channel 4 in the United Kingdom premiered the unique concept, which puts all-age participants against one another to create and construct Lego marvels. According to Channel 4, the series has aired two seasons in the United Kingdom and has been the network’s highest-rated new show. Endemol Shine Group stated in February 2018 that local versions were in the works in Australia and Germany.

Endemol Shine North America and Brad Pitt’s Plan B will create the American version of Lego Masters. Sharon Levy, DJ Nurre, and Michael Heyerman of Endemol Shine North America will executive produce with Karen Smith and Steph Harris of Tuesday’s Child, and Jill Wilfert and Robert May of The Lego Group.

Endemol, which produced season one of The Masked Singer, continues to work with Fox on Lego Masters. Endemol Shine is also the production company behind Fox’s MasterChef series and the upcoming scripted miniseries Almost Family.
