The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow, a surprise appearance confirmed today with the release of a teaser clip.

The Duchess of Sussex returns to the Warner Bros. lot, which is a familiar spot for her because she used to attend auditions on-site when she worked as an actress.

When DeGeneres asked if she used to travel to the Warner Bros. property in Burbank, California (where the host’s show is taped), the duchess said, “Oh, my gosh, completely. I would park at Gate 3, and then I would scoot on over. And what was so nice was that the security guards here would always say, ‘Break a leg! We hope you get it!’ So driving in today was very different.”

Meghan then described the beat-up old automobile she used to drive to auditions as having “a life of its own.”

“I had this very, very old Ford Explorer Sport, and at a certain point the key stopped working on the driver’s side, so you couldn’t get yourself in through the door,” she explained.

“So after auditions, I would park at the back of the parking lot and I would open the trunk and climb in and then pull it shut behind me and crawl over all my seats to get out. That’s how I would come to and fro.”

Bemused, DeGeneres wondered if anybody had ever caught the duchess-to-be in the process of jumping into her car’s truck.

“No,” Meghan said, reassuring her. “I would play it off. I would go like, ‘Oh, I’m just looking for my résumé and my highlighters for my script. Oh, maybe it’s back there!’ And then crawl. The things we do.”

The Ellen Show announced the interview on their social media account.

The tweet read: “A lot has changed since the last time Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, was on the Warner Brothers lot. Don’t miss the rest of our interview tomorrow.”

The brief footage has no hints as to whether the Duchess will address the more serious issues, like her battles with depression, that she mentioned in CBS’ highly watched Oprah with Meghan and Harry interview special in March.

This is her first interview after the birth of her second child, Lilibet, in June.

Meghan and Ellen DeGeneres became friends after meeting at a dog rescue in 2012.

The Duchess of Cambridge will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, November 18.
