Meghan Markle wore $384,000 in jewelry while posing on the cover of Time’s most influential people issue with her husband, Prince Harry, including a new $525 diamond pinky ring designed to symbolise female empowerment.

The 40-year-old displayed an incredible array of expensive jewellery on the publication’s highly glossy, airbrushed cover, which puts both her and Harry, 37, among the 100 most important persons in the world for 2021.

Among Meghan’s favorite items are a $23,000 gold Cartier Tank watch that originally belonged to Princess Diana and was given to her by her husband in the early years of their relationship, which she matched with a $6,900 Cartier Love bangle.

Meghan wore her $350,000 engagement ring with her pinky rings, which was initially fashioned by Prince Harry and court jewelers Cleave & Company using one stone from Botswana and two smaller stones from Diana’s collection.

She also wore a $3,000 tiny gold tennis bracelet created by Jennifer Meyer, ex-wife of actor Tobey Maguire.

Meghan has been forbidden by the Queen from wearing the jewelry made famous by Princess Diana.

Her Maj has willingly loaned classic pieces to Princess Diana and Kate in the past, but insiders claim she has been disappointed by some of Meghan’s behavior.

An insider said: “This is a surprising situation that has been going on behind the scenes over the past few months and has caused tension and upset, especially for Harry.

“It is at the discretion of the Queen and trusted advisers which items in the Royal Collection she chooses to loan out and to whom.

“Aspects of Meghan’s behaviour, including before the Royal Wedding, caused resentment with forces within Buckingham Palace.

“To be perfectly honest, the Queen herself was not impressed with some of Meghan’s demands, especially as a new member of the family.”

“As a result, Buckingham Palace has decided that not all items from the Queen’s royal collection will be opened up to Meghan.

“As part of that situation, the Queen informed Prince William that the items from the Royal Collection worn by Princess Diana would not immediately be made available to Meghan.”

The senior source added: “The Queen likes Meghan personally but this is about the hierarchy.

“She is showing that maintaining the correct order and precedence within the family is important.

“Even if Meghan is the most popular woman in the world, she is of a lower rank than Kate.”

Rumours have persisted about whether Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William, had a falling out.

The Duchess was denied the use of an emerald tiara for her wedding, prompting husband Harry to scream, “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets.”

The Queen finally picked a diamond and platinum headpiece for her. According to sources at the time, Meghan “can be difficult” and has “high standards” since she is “used to working in a Hollywood environment”.

There have also been rumors of a feud between Meghan and Kate, which were fueled by the creation of Meghan and Harry’s own Instagram account.
