According to a commentator, Meghan Markle is receiving a “taste of her own medicine” as her half-brother attacks her on Big Brother.

Thomas Markle Jr., Meghan’s estranged brother, is a competitor on Big Brother VIP, an Australian celebrity version of the reality program.

Thomas Jr stated in a teaser for the series: “I told Prince Harry, I think she’s going to ruin your life. She’s very shallow.”

While Meghan appears to have a close connection with her mother, Doria Ragland, she is estranged from her father, Thomas Markle Sr., and many of her relatives on his side of the family.

Meanwhile, after relocating to California from the United Kingdom, Meghan and Harry have done a number of interviews in which they discussed the royal family.

Meghan revealed to Oprah Winfrey that a member of the royal family had questioned the color of her baby Archie’s skin before he was born.

Meghan claims she hasn’t spoken to her half-sister Samantha in 19 years, and her father’s decision to release a letter Meghan addressed to him to the public triggered a contentious legal battle.

Sarah Vine, a writer and columnist for the Daily Mail, told Palace Confidential that she didn’t mind Meghan’s half brother talking about her on TV.

Ms Vine said: “I think she’s about to find out what it feels like for someone to cash in on your family which is what the Queen has been dealing with for the last 18 months.

“She and Harry have been cashing in on their Royal Family by selling all sorts of Netflix deals and giving interviews to people and saying dreadful things.

“It’s a taste of her own medicine, I think.”

“The last thing she wants to be associated with is Big Brother,” remarked journalist Charlotte Griffiths.

About the alleged “Obama snub”, the commentator said: “She wants to be in the stratosphere of the Obamas, and pesky brothers are tainting her with this murky z-lister brush – she must be hating it.”

Meanwhile, Meghan’s father Thomas appeared on GB News in the UK only last week, claiming that he had attempted to make peace with his daughter.

Meghan’s 77-year-old father Thomas, who has never met Harry or his grandkids Archie and Lilibet, told GB News that he sent Meghan roses in an attempt to repair their strained relationship.

He claims, however, that he has yet to get a response from the former Suits actor.

Thomas Markle Jr. has already taken advantage of his royal ties, appearing in a beer commercial with a Meghan lookalike attempting to “steal” the Queen’s crown and also boxing under the moniker “The Duke.”
