According to Page Six, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will collaborate on a book on ‘leadership’ as part of their multimillion-dollar book deal.

And Markle may be planning her own spectacular memoir, following in the footsteps of her husband.

According to Page Six, he has a contract with Penguin Random House that includes four publications.

The first book to be published in 2022 will be Prince Harry’s autobiography, which is anticipated to cover his life from infancy to the current day – and it has now been revealed that the pair will collaborate on another set of the books.

Moreover, despite rumors that Harry’s memoir would be divided into two parts, with the second chapter to be published after the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, a representative for the pair confirmed to the source that just one book would be issued in late 2022.

Royal watchers wonder whether Markle’s book will be the first chapter in a shift toward her long-rumored political ambitions.

“With such a steady drumbeat of all the Harry announcements, you have to imagine that the Meghan dial is going to be dialed up,” an insider said.

“One can only think that she would absolutely write a memoir — she has been outspoken to those who know her about her political aspirations in the future.”

Markle, who gave birth to her daughter Lilibet in June, has been largely silent since her appearance with Harry on Oprah Winfrey’s shocking interview in March.

However, she recently became a published author in her own right, publishing a children’s book named The Bench with Random House, which is not included in this current four-book contract. Meghan has previously described her book as a poem that “began as a love letter to my husband and son,” adding that her decision to “depict another side of masculinity—one grounded in connection, emotion, and softness—is to model a world that so many would like to see for their sons and daughters alike.”

Aside from Harry’s biography, Markle is said to be working on a wellness book.

The Duke of Sussex is said to have been working with Pulitzer Prize-winning ghostwriter J. R. Moehringer, and a first draft has already been completed.

Meanwhile, top royals are reported to be “concerned” about what could be in Harry’s memoir, with a source telling US Weekly: “The Royal Family is shaken up about the book.”

“They haven’t received a copy yet and don’t know what to expect. It’s making them nervous,” the source said.

In a statement announcing the book, Harry said, “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become. I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story—the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned—I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

Katie Nicholl, a royal expert, recently told OK! that Harry’s younger brother, Prince William, will view the deal as his younger sibling “cashing in” on the monarchy.

She said: “The news of Harry’s book will probably have driven a further wedge between them and heightened the perception that Harry is cashing in on the very thing he said he wouldn’t cash in on, which is his royalty.

“Who knows what damage this might potentially cause the family? On one hand, you’ve got Harry saying he wants to move on and have a relationship with them, and on the other he is deliberately courting controversy.”

Random House announced their collaboration with Harry on Twitter, with the profits going to charity.

Meghan’s most recent children’s book, “The Bench,” was published by Random House, but the contract was signed in 2019 and is not included in this new agreement.
