According to a lip reader, Kate Middleton warmly refers to her father-in-law as “grandpa”.

The Prince of Wales may be the future King of England to the rest of us, but his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton refers to him as “grandpa.”

While the Royal Family was in St Ives for the annual G7 conference, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, was recorded using an adorable nickname for the Prince of Wales. ‘Hello Grandpa! How are you?’ the Duchess said to her father-in-law, according to a lip reader.

Kate and Prince William’s young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, have a strong bond with Prince Charles. They most likely to refer to the future king of England with the same name.

Prince Charles, 72, was present at the celebration with Queen Elizabeth II, 95, and turned to see Kate, 39, and Prince William, 38, arrive. Kate greeted “grandpa” with a smile as Charles paused to smile at his son. The Monarch and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall also had a short interaction over a shawl, which the queen declined to wear.

The Family was at the Eden Project in Cornwall for an evening event with world leaders.

Royal analysts have reacted to Prince Charles’ recent “interaction” with his daughter-in-law, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cambridge, as well as other members of the Royal Family, were in attendance at the G7 Summit. Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie, presenters of the Royally Obsessed podcast, reported what occurred.

Ms Bowie told listeners: “I loved this little interaction we saw.

“Kate arrived and said ‘Hello grandpa’ to Prince Charles.

“It was just really sweet.

“You tend to start calling your in-laws whatever your children call them.”

Ms Fiorito agreed: “I’ve noticed that a lot even with my own brother and sister-in-law.

“Now parents will see their own parents and say ‘Oh nana and grandpa’.”

In April, the pair shared a special evening during Prince Philip’s funeral, when Kate Middleton kissed a tearful Prince Charles on the cheek.

According to Cornwall Live, the same lip reader who claimed to have detected Kate and Charles’ lovely routine also claims to have heard a clip of a discussion between the Queen and Camilla.

As the family strolled through the exhibit, Camilla held out the Queen’s shawl to her mother-in-law and allegedly asked if she wanted it.

The Queen is said to have replied, ‘You have it.’

Camilla asked again: ‘Are you sure?’ and then Charles stepped in to help, saying: ‘She doesn’t want it.’

Charles has recently become a grandparent for the fifth time. On June 4, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor into their family, giving their eldest son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, a baby sister.

During a tour of a MINI UK facility on June 8, Prince Charles gushed over his newest granddaughter. The British royal was around to address the importance of electric vehicles in lowering carbon emissions and combating global warming. “The development of technology like electric vehicles … is vital for maintaining the health of our world for future generations, something I am only too aware of today, having recently become a grandfather for the fifth time,” he said. “Such happy news really does remind one of the necessity of continued innovation in this area — especially around sustainable battery technology — in view of the legacy we bequeath to our grandchildren.”
