Jennifer Lopez is said to have ‘feelings’ for Ben Affleck after the two were seen together on a trip to Montana last week.

Before their relationship ended 17 years ago, the charismatic couple were together from 2002 to 2004 and even got engaged.

According to sources who talked to People for a piece released on Friday, the exes are making preparations for their future together.

“[Jennifer] is in touch with Ben every day,” a source close to Lopez told the magazine. “They are making plans to see each other. Jennifer is still very excited about how things are going with Ben.”

“A-Rod is shocked that J.Lo has moved on,” the source explained. “He truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him.”

Overall, Rodriguez is “saddened” by Affleck and Lopez’s meetings, and he reached out to her to express his displeasure. This didn’t seem to sway J.Lo, who had no desire to reconcile with A-Rod. “She’s not interested in rekindling anything with A-Rod and is done,” the source added.

The 51-year-old singer and actress is currently “spending time with her kids in Miami,” according to the source, who also adds that she “has been working, too.”

A source with knowledge of Affleck’s side of the story spoke out about the reconciliation later in the day on Friday, revealing that the star reached out to Lopez in March, when she and ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez were making a final effort to sort things out in their relationship.

According to the source, “Ben reached out to Jennifer as a friend,” “He was basically checking up on her. He was single and thought she might be single, too.”

E! obtained Lopez and Rodriguez’s perspectives on the split on the day they announced it. According to the outlet, Lopez put an end to things for good.

Lopez, according to a source, “once her trust is broken, there’s no turning around.” “She feels good about her decision because she knows A-Rod will still be in her life, just in a different capacity.”

Rob Shuter, JLo’s former publicist who claims to have written the initial Bennifer breakup press release, spoke on Access this week and said they’re back together!’
