Prince Harry and his pregnant wife Meghan Markle are said to be “on the warpath” in California, with the Duke of Sussex “far from happy” with his new life there.

According to a royal expert, Prince Harry is unhappy with his new life in the United States because contented individuals “don’t create arguments and criticize people.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped down from top royal roles and relocated to Los Angeles with son Archie and are preparing for the arrival of their daughter this summer.

In the last year, the couple has come out in a series of interviews that have upset the Royal Family.

The Duke of Sussex unleashed yet another stinging assault on the Royal Family, with royal biographer Duncan Larcombe warning that the latest outburst might “end in disaster for Harry” since he is “burning bridges left, right, and center.” Harry made an apparent dig at his father, Prince Charles, on the podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard last week.

Harry says he wants to “break the cycle” of his royal upbringing’s “pain and suffering” for his children.

Duncan Larcombe, author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story, believes that Harry is no happier today than he was when he was in the United Kingdom.

Royal expert Mr Larcombe has said: “I believe that, despite Harry’s insistence that he’s happy, he’s far from it.

“I don’t think he or Meghan are happy. Content people don’t create arguments and criticise people – content people want to make amends. ”

Harry is “clearly in the very midst of his mental-health journey and causing pain to his own family.”

“The cause of all his anger and sadness was never the royals – it was the trauma of his mother dying when he was a child.

“That’s where the issue lies – I don’t think he’ll be truly happy until he works through that.

“He has now made the royals and the institution his enemies because of that – he’s on the warpath.”

Harry and Meghan Markle sat down with Oprah earlier this year for a candid conversation about life in the Royal Family.

The pair claimed there were “concerns” about the color of their baby Archie’s skin in a series of extraordinary assertions.

Harry compared his upbringing to Jim Carrey’s character in the 1998 film The Truman Show, in which he portrays a man who is unaware that his whole life is a TV show.

In an apparent dig at his father, Prince Charles, he emphasized the necessity of shielding his children from his upbringing’s “genetic pain.”

The Duke also indicated that he did not want to be a working member of the Royal Family in his twenties and that he now feels “free” in his new life in California outside of The Firm.

The royal expert believes Meghan has helped Harry open up about his life experiences, but says the Duke is “desperately trying to convince himself that he has found happiness” in interviews.

Mr Larcombe claimed: “I think what we see and hear from these interviews is a man who is desperately trying to convince himself that he has found happiness, and he has been through it all and reached the other side – that he’s finally free.

“I don’t think that’s the case. He and Meghan aren’t happy or free. I don’t think his move to LA has solved anything.”
