Rachel McAdams was spotted out and about with her screenwriter lover Jamie Linden this week.

The couple was caught walking together in a Los Angeles park, a rare trip for the couple who are expecting their second child together. McAdams and Linden already have a 2-year-old son.

The 41-year-old Wedding Crashers star was dressed casually in a shirt that said Everything and jeans, with a mask on top.

Her boyfriend, on the other hand, was dressed casually in jeans and carrying a non-disposable canvas bag.

McAdams was pictured exiting a children’s clothes store in Los Angeles earlier this month, dressed in a lovely silk peach-colored outfit.

Rachel and Jamie welcomed their first child in 2018, and Page Six reported this week that they are expecting their second child.

During the COVID-19 crisis, she and Linden, 39, have been spending “a lot of quality time” with their kid. “It’s something that you’ll never get to do quite like this again,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s such extraordinary circumstances and we’re just making the best of it. And I was reading something about that in The New York Times, like, ‘Don’t worry about your kids,’ because he was just starting to really talk and open up and socialize.”

Rachel, who is presently quarantining with her 2-year-old son and family due to the Coronavirus epidemic, has spoken up about parenting in the lockdown. On the LHSF Canada Steam-a-thon, the actress described her 2-year-old baby as a “very welcome distraction” while in quarantine.

She said, “I have a very welcome distraction from my two-year-old son. That’s pretty much what I do all the time.

McAdams added: “ That’s right, he’s so entertaining! I thought about it: “Do I prefer to be alone in quarantine?” Or with my family?

“You know, there were days, of course, but I mean I would be so bored without him to make it so much fun.”

The 41-year-old actress explained that her family lives “out in the country,” with a “little farm down the road” where they can “look at the animals.”

“We’ve been doing some planting, some okra, well, I mean, I do the planting and he snacks most of the day,” she said.

“The greatest thing that’s ever happened to me,” McAdams said of becoming a mother. The Mean Girls actor and the Dear John author had a boy in April 2018, according to Us Weekly.

“[People say] your life is not your own any more, but I had 39 years of me, I was sick of me, I was so happy to put the focus on some other person,” told The Sunday Times in November 2018. “I waited a long time [for motherhood]. It’s just how it happened. And I didn’t want to do it before it was the right time.”

“I want to keep his life private, even if mine isn’t,” she continued. But becoming a mother is the most fun I’ve ever had. Everything about it fascinates, excites, and motivates me. Even on the bad days, there’s something enjoyable about them.”

McAdams also discussed her smash 2004 film Mean Girls during her benefit visit.

“Let’s hope Mean Girls has helped girls be nicer to each other, and not the other way around,” she said. “It’s really bizarre, I feel so lucky to be a part of something that’s stuck around even a little bit. That’s never something I imagined happening in life.”

When asked which of her roles she would like to reprise, McAdams said she was curious to learn more about Regina George.

“It would be fun to play Regina George later in her life and see where life took her!” she said.
