The mystery behind Jennifer Lopez’s creepy stranger has finally been answered.

When Lopez, 50, posted a post-workout gym photo on Twitter and Instagram last week with the message, “If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you,” nothing seemed amiss. While many of the comments commended the superstar’s dedication to fitness, others—apparently with superhuman vision—want to know what the man in the background is up to. This appears to be a case of “The Dress” since everyone sees something somewhat different.

“What’s up with JLo’s IG pic here? What’s with the dude in the back? They keep deleting comments asking about him,” one fan tweeted.  “Who’s that guy tied up in the back??” asked another fan. “So are we not going to talk about the person behind her (holding) their mouth?” a third inquired.

Others gave “answers” such as, “It’s a bald man that works at that gym and he has a medical mask on,” as one person put it. Others speculated that it may be a child or a creep.

According to E!, the man is someone with whom Alex Rodriguez was on a Zoom conversation. According to a source close to the couple, “Their office is attached to a gym and is separated by curtains from their office space. When they are doing a Zoom, they project it onto a big screen. If you look closely you can see Alex’s arm in a navy blue shirt. He’s sitting in front of their desk, with the big screen on it, so the image of the person you’re seeing is who is on his Zoom call. That man was covering his mouth with his hand.”

Lopez, 50, has social distancing with A-Rod and his children, Natasha and Ella, as well as her 12-year-old twins, Emme and Max, at their Florida home.

She not only used the time to keep in shape, but she also saw the enforced confinement as an opportunity to reconnect with her inner self.

“I’m letting everything take a break — my hair, damaged from 20 years in the business; letting my nails breathe; and generally taking care of myself,” she said. “We don’t want to come out of this without growing,” she told PEOPLE.

Lopez did give an interview to Entertainment Tonight earlier this week in which she discussed her upcoming wedding arrangements as well as her first dance with fiancé Alex Rodriguez. “Well, I know a lot of different styles. Knowing me, it will be a big production of some sort,” Lopez said. “I don’t know what it will be yet.”
