When it comes to red carpet appearances for Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger, the world premiere of “Avengers: Endgame” is only the beginning.

The newly engaged couple attended the Los Angeles premiere on Monday evening, the highly anticipated finale to the Avengers saga that began with the release of Iron Man in 2008.

Schwarzenegger has been a strong supporter of her fiancé’s professional endeavors. She commended Pratt’s work ethic and talent on the day his film “Lego Movie 2: The Second Part” was released in February.

She said on Instagram, “So incredibly proud of my amazing, talented and hardworking fiancé everyday, but especially today because his movie, THE LEGO MOVIE 2, IS FINALLY OUT! These special little characters… Emmet and Rex are voiced by my love, and he did such a great job!”

Pratt was first drawn to Schwarzenegger’s strong spirituality, according to a source who spoke to PEOPLE.

“They’re very compatible and have a lot in common,” said the source. “Family is very important to both of them, as well as their spirituality.”

Pratt and Schwarzenegger have been dating for little over a year, having first being seen together at a Father’s Day picnic in Santa Barbara, California. He appeared to have been “smitten” from the start.

Just days after the proposal, a source told E! News that the pair had detailed wedding plans. They were “looking at summer wedding dates” at the time, according to the insider, with the ceremony perhaps taking place on Martha’s Vineyard. However, it is now possible that it will take place in the fall or winter. According to the source, it is a “special place” for the daughter of former California Governor.

“Chris wants her to have her perfect day and whatever she wants,” the insider continued. “It will be a big wedding and very traditional.”
