She made the remarks while being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest, who inquired about a frittata she had made earlier in the day, which was featured in an Instagram photo taken by her brother Ben Watts.

The makeup-free diva is seen happily holding up the appetizing meal in the photo.

On the red carpet, the actress told the American Idol host that she had been hungry and that she had been dieting in preparation for the red carpet.

‘I’m hungry on days like today, usually you’ve been starving yourself…’ Naomi explained.

Fans were enraged by the question, believing that the actress, who rose to fame on Home and Away nearly 25 years ago, might have had more to say on the industry’s biggest night of the year.

The actress wore an Armani cut-out gown that revealed a lot of skin and showed off her toned physique on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Naomi chose a monochrome color scheme for the odd print dress, which had spaghetti straps and low sides, and presented a category with Benedict Cumberbatch during the awards ceremony.

The star’s shoulders and waist were exposed, with a black bandeau beneath that concealed her chest and safeguarded her modesty.

Naomi completed her look with a boxy black purse and minimal jewelry. Her hair was dressed in an undone wavy ‘lob,’ and she used black lipstick and dramatic lashes to complete her look.
