On Wednesday afternoon, July 10, Odom got into a violent altercation with a few photographers, which resulted in the 6’10” NBA star attempting to smash one vehicle and the contents inside another — all of which was captured on video.

Odom can be seen opening the door of a paparazzo’s car and throwing the photographer’s equipment into the center of the road. He then gathers the items in a systematic manner and places them in the trunk of his own vehicle. According to TMZ, he also damaged another paparazzo’s car with a metal rod.

The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating Lamar Odom in connection with a reported grand theft and battery incident. Although no arrests have been made, a report on the incident has been filed with the LAPD.

According to a source, Odom was stopped at a light near his Los Angeles home when the photographers approached his car and asked him about the supposed infidelity scandal.

Many media sites speculate that the attack on the paparazzi’s homes is in response to reports that Odom, 33, and his wife Khloe Kardashian, 29, are having marital issues. The sportsman reportedly began conversing with the photographers before shouting, “Put your cameras down and let me talk to you man to man,” according to Splash News. That’s when things started to heat up.

Footage of the encounter was cut off shortly after Odom began asking a photographer for his name and contact information.

Before the camera went dark, Odom stated, “I’m gonna get out of the car and I’m gonna talk to you.”

“Lamar got furious that they had the nerve to ask him and he absolutely lost it,” a source added to People.

“He got out of his car and went crazy on a third photographer. He reached into the photographer’s car, grabbed the camera equipment and threw it into the street. Lamar was very upset and seemed beyond stressed out.”

Despite the fact that there was a lot of property damage, the NBA player did not physically contact any of the photographers.

When a fan approached the NBA star for a photo, his rage seemed to subside as he quietly agreed.

Odom wasn’t pleased with the line of inquiry, but he remained composed throughout the discussion.

“I would never cheat on my wife. That’s why I wear my wedding ring,” Odom explained.

Standing up  for her man, Kardashian rushed to Twitter and unleashed an expletive-laced diatribe on the paparazzi.

“Wow can’t believe a paparazzi snuck into our gated area and violated our private property!!!!”

“This is the same pap that did a hit and run but my brother and I caught him and he has the nerve to taunt us!!! Be ashamed of your self”

“Fuck the papz!!!!! You fucking losers!!!!! But shout out to my hubby for posing with the fans! I love my Lam!”

“This becomes stalking at some point!!!!! Its wild!!!! #FuckThePaps”

According to TMZ, one of the photographers who was subjected to Odom’s anger has filed a vandalism case with the police.

Odom isn’t the only Kardashian beau to go crazy on the paparazzi in recent months.

Kanye West attacked them in early May when they were following him and his then-pregnant girlfriend Kim causing him to bump his head on a metal sign.

According to RadarOnline.com, the online version of Star magazine, Kardashian booted Odom out after discovering he was having an affair with Jennifer Richardson, a 29-year-old woman.

According to the newspaper, the two met at a strip club in January 2012 and began dating in December of that year.
