Gerard Butler, the Scottish actor best known for his roles in films such as “300” and “Plane,” recently revealed that he has a backup plan in case his acting career doesn’t work out.

In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Butler stated that he would like to work as a park ranger in a national park.

“I like the idea of being forced into nature, to have that as my everyday experience,” Butler said. “I think it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world.”

He went on to express his love for his home country of Scotland, noting that it is one of the reasons he loves being in nature.

Despite his appreciation for the natural beauty of Scotland, Butler had less kind words to say about the country’s cuisine.

“I think we have some interesting dishes, right? We have some historically fascinating dishes that are definitely an experience for the palate,” he said.

“But no, I think we’re known for other things. You know, we have our whiskeys, we have our music, our bagpipes, you know, we have our kilts, but the French have their cuisine.”

“The Italians have a cuisine. I would not say that it would be our first choice to say, ‘Let’s go to a Scottish restaurant’ if we’re talking about amazing, delectable cuisine, right?”

Butler’s recent film “Plane” is an action movie where he plays an airline pilot who saves his passengers from a lightning strike by landing on a war-torn island.

He is forced to deal with dangerous rebels and has to team up with an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI.

After the movie premiere, Butler, along with co-star Mike Colter and director Jean-François Richet, partied at The Skylark, where presumably Butler did not eat any Scottish food.

Butler had a great time celebrating, as we hear he didn’t leave until 1 a.m.

While Butler may have a backup plan in case his acting career doesn’t work out, it’s clear that he’s still passionate about the industry and the roles he takes on.

“Plane” is yet another action-packed film that showcases his talent and versatility as an actor. It’s clear that Butler is dedicated to his craft and will continue to deliver impressive performances on the big screen.

Butler’s love for nature and outdoor activities is also well-known, and it’s clear that this is something that he values deeply.

Being a park ranger would allow him to combine his love for nature with a rewarding career.

It’s not uncommon for actors to have alternate career paths, and it’s always interesting to hear about the different paths they may have taken if things had gone differently.
