Piers Morgan has asked Meghan Markle whether she will discuss “bullying in the workplace” with Ellen DeGeneres.

Morgan, 56, has never been shy about expressing his thoughts about Meghan Markle, 40, after storming off the set of Good Morning Britain earlier this year in a fight over her interview with Oprah Winfrey. The star has finally spoken out on Meghan Markle’s recent high-profile interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and he hasn’t held back.

He jibed about Ellen being accused of bullying last year, and how the Duchess was investigated after complaints of bullying by royal personnel.

Piers tweeted: “Are they discussing bullying in the workplace?”

The Duchess of Sussex was accused of “humiliating” personal aides and employees, as well as forcing two of them out of Kensington Palace, which she denies.

Meghan reportedly made employees cry, and multiple official complaints were filed against her.

Buckingham Palace began an investigation into the concerns, but the final report may not be released until 2022.

The Duchess refuted the allegations in a statement.

It read: “The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma.

“She is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good.”

“Let’s just call this what it is—a calculated smear campaign based on misleading and harmful misinformation,” Meghan and Harry’s team wrote in a statement to The Times.

“We are disappointed to see this defamatory portrayal of the Duchess of Sussex given credibility by a media outlet.”

Meanwhile, Ellen apologized on-air last year after reports of a terrible work environment on the set of her talk show surfaced.

Rumours of Ellen’s demanding behavior resulted in ex-employees sharing experiences on Twitter, prompting the company to launch an investigation.

On Twitter, comedian Kevin T Porter called her “notoriously one of the meanest people alive” and asked for “insane stories” about her.

One of the responses said that “she has a ‘sensitive nose’, so everyone must chew gum from a bowl outside her office before talking to her, and if she thinks you smell you have to go home and shower”.

The presenter and comedian spoke up about the sexual harassment and misconduct charges that surfaced at the time.

“I learned that things happened that should never have happened,” Ellen stated on her show.

“If I’ve ever let someone down, if I’ve ever hurt their feelings, I am sorry for that.”

The Duchess of Sussex sat down with Ellen, and unveiled a rare picture of her son Archie and revealed how she and husband Prince Harry previously went undercover at a Halloween party.

But the former Good Morning Britain host, 56, wasn’t impressed.

Piers, who famously stated that he “didn’t believe a word” when Meghan shared her problems with Oprah Winfrey, was quick to react on the conversation.

This led to his departing ITV’s daytime show GMB after he triggered more than 50,000 Ofcom complaints.

Piers left the show in March, soon after Ofcom said that it had begun an inquiry under its harm and offence regulations after receiving regarding his comments against the ex-royals.

Meghan had also filed an official complaint with the television authority.
