An expert says the Queen will have considered Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s behavior “deplorable” in the wake of fresh allegations against the Royal Family.

Harry, 36, has spoken out again about the grief he felt when his mother, Princess Diana, died in a new documentary.

Harry has refused to back down, equating growing up in the Royal Family to “a mixture between The Truman Show and being in a zoo.”

The accusations made in media appearances by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, according to royal analyst Richard Fitzwilliams, will have had a significant effect on the Royal Family.

Mr Fitzwilliams told the Daily Star, “The Sussexes’ activities, when they’ve spoken out, have been very very damaging. There’s no doubt about it.”

When asked whether Her Majesty would have been offended by Harry’s remarks, he said, “She has realised how unhappy they were, but speaking out in the way they have is a totally different thing.”

While the Sussexes have never publicly criticized the Queen, Harry has claimed that his family encouraged him to “play the game” despite his struggles with royal life.

“The Queen will have found the way the Sussexes have handled things, I think, deplorable,” Mr Fitzwilliams said.

In the new mental health documentary The Me You Can’t See, Harry addressed Charles’ parenting style.

“Charles will want to engage,” a “royal source later told the Daily Mail, “but it’s fair to say what Harry has said in both interviews with Oprah has been seen as very callous within the family.”

“If Harry was to attack the Queen in a more personal way, Charles would close ranks with the Queen without a doubt and Harry would be out in the cold.”

Meghan also said that Prince Harry had a discussion with a member of the Royal Family who questioned “how dark” Archie’s complexion will be in the same interview.

Meghan Markle is reportedly “fearful” of losing her position as Duchess of Sussex, according to insiders.

“She’s told Harry that they need to tone down the attacks on the royal family – she’s afraid they’ll take away their royal titles, which would be a PR disaster,” a source claimed.

“Right now, she’s inundated with offers, and that’s in part to being a Duchess.”

The Queen is said to be “deeply upset” by Harry’s “very personal” accusations of the Royal Family, but Charles is eager to make amends.

Dawn Porter, the documentary’s director, recently come out in support of the Duke.

When she first met Harry at Oprah’s home to talk about the forthcoming TV program, she recalled how he instantly put her at ease by casually introducing himself.

“He had clearly been in this position before,” she told Insider, “because before I could even start to stutter or say anything wrong, he just put his hand out and said, ‘Harry. Nice to meet you’.”

“Just getting a little taste of [the criticism], I guess, in some ways I feel protective of him because I didn’t see that coming,” Dawn said.

Prince Harry’s wish to attend the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities next year, according to a source, would be a ” fresh headache ” for the Royal Family.

The pair has formally stood down as working royals, although they have said that they would want to return for family events.

From Thursday, June 2 through Sunday, June 5, 2022, there will be a four-day Bank Holiday, as well as activities to commemorate the Queen’s seventy years on the throne.

“Harry wants to be there. It is already causing a headache and is going to be very awkward,” a source told The Sun.

“Where will they be positioned if they turn up? What events can they attend? Will we put them on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the flypast?”

“This is a celebration for the Queen’s 70 years of service to the nation and should not be overshadowed.”

“There are now so many questions about what to do with Harry and Meghan.”
