According to analysts, Prince William will not accept any ‘nonsense’ from his brother’s team over allegations that Kensington Palace leaked stories about Harry’s mental health.

Prince William has been “very, very firm” in his opposition to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle behind the scenes, according to Charlotte Griffiths, a diarist for the Mail on Sunday, who says a “new picture is emerging that William is much tougher in this situation than we previously thought.” This occurs in the midst of a long-running feud between the two brothers.

She told MailPlus’s Palace Confidential that William was not “taking anymore nonsense from the couple.”

According to Express, “Most people thought the main blame for the fall-out was not Meghan, but instead the brothers themselves.”

“A new picture is emerging that William is much tougher in this situation than we previously thought.”

“He is very, very firm. He was much tougher behind the scenes very early on,” the royal watcher continued. “He was not taking any more nonsense from very early on it seems.”

The event was a “line in the sand” for the future king, according to the Daily Mail’s Royal Editor Rebecca English.

“We are not going to be seeing William complain about any article or programme.

“But what is clear is that there is a line in the sand for him.

“The suggestion that he had briefed about his brother and mental health issues was just a step too far for him.”

This comes after the Duke of Cambridge disputed an allegation that William leaked negative stories about his brother’s mental health, forcing ITV’s new documentary ‘Harry and William: What Went Wrong?’ to make last-minute revisions.

Harry is “coming up with increasingly strident and – I would say – provocative comments”, royal analyst Omid Scobie said, but this allegation “didn’t have any evidence to back up.”

After royal biographer Lady Campbell cautioned that Meghan and Harry were taking undue advantage of the Queen’s forbearance, Griffiths chimed in. She said that, despite the Sussexes’ best efforts, they will not be able to get away with it since the Royal Family’s “fightback has started.”

William “just wishes his brother would put a sock in it,” said royal author Phil Sampier, in New Idea Royals Monthly magazine.

According to Monsters & Critics, Griffiths informed Jo Elvin of MailPlus’ Palace Confidential that William had had enough of Meghan and Harry’s assaults on the Royal Family.

Ms Griffiths claims that the new ITV programme reveals William’s strong attitude in the face of Harry’s opposition.

However, there are indications that Prince William and Prince Harry’s icy relationship is beginning to soften when they appeared together for the installation of Diana’s memorial monument.

Duncan Larcombe, a royal biographer, advised the Royals to anticipate more assaults from Meghan and Harry. Larcombe urged William to think about the Royal Family’s reaction to potential Meghan and Harry assaults.
