According to a friend, the Duke of Sussex met the Queen in private “at least twice” while in England for Prince Philip’s burial.

On April 11, Harry landed in the United Kingdom, two days after Philip died at the age of 99. Harry returned to California on April 20 after attending the send-off on April 17, rejoining with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and their son Archie. Meghan’s doctors advised her not to go to the United Kingdom since she was in the last weeks of pregnancy.

After the burial, Harry met with his father, Charles, and brother, William, according to royal author Omid Scobie.

In an interview with Bazaar.com, he said, ‘The love and respect he has for his grandmother will always be unwavering.

According to Mr Scobie, the visit “broke the ice” for future discussions.

“This trip was to honour the life of his grandfather and support his grandmother and relatives,” the source said.

“It was very much a family-focused period of time. Saturday broke the ice for future conversations but outstanding issues have not been addressed at any great length. The family simply put their issues to one side to focus on what mattered.”

It would have been Prince Harry’s first face-to-face meeting with the Queen since his and Meghan’s shocking appearance with Oprah.

Finding Freedom, the royal reporter’s bombshell memoir about his friend the Sussexes’ choice to stand down as senior royals, was published last year.

Mr Scobie acknowledged that Harry stayed at Frogmore Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle during his visit.

It has also been claimed that Meghan and her one-year-old son Archie talked with the Queen in the days leading up to the burial.

Harry seemed to mend fences with his brother, the Duke of Cambridge.

However, not everything is well.

According to the source, “outstanding issues have not been addressed at any great length.”

They added: “The family simply put their issues to one side to focus on what mattered.”

According to Scobie, the Duke also visited a number of family members, including Princess Eugenie and her newborn baby.

When asked about an apparent split with William in 2019, he said that he loves his brother deeply but that they were “on different paths” and had “good days” and “bad days.”

After purchasing an open-ended ticket, Harry was expected to remain to visit his grandmother on her birthday, but with pregnant Meghan Markle at home in the United States, he hurried back.

One of the more startling allegations made by the Sussexes was that an unidentified member of the family had “concerns” about the color of infant Archie’s skin.

The duchess also said she got no assistance after having suicide thoughts.
