Meghan Markle’s past royal life was recently discussed by an expert, who explained how she couldn’t “hack it” and ended up succumbing to the pressure.

Andrew Morton compared her being a member of the royal family to attempting to conquer Mount Everest “in flip flops.”

The royal expert told ToDiForDaily that Meghan did not realize how difficult it is to be a royal in his book, “Elizabeth & Margaret: The Intimate World of the Windsor Sisters.”

“She just couldn’t hack it. She didn’t anticipate that it was difficult.

“It was like trying to climb Everest without ropes and without boots.

“It was like trying to climbs Everest in flip-flops.”

Her and Prince Harry’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which the former actress confessed to marrying the Duke of Sussex “naively,” echoed this.

This was because Meghan “didn’t grow up knowing much about the Royal Family,” she claimed.

Mr Morton believes Kate Middleton suffered in the beginning, and that it ‘took her a long time’ to get control of her position.

Meghan recounted how, shortly before meeting Her Majesty, Harry had to teach her how to curtsey.

Meghan said to Oprah that she “didn’t do any research” on royal etiquette and that she “never” looked up her husband on the internet.

The Duchess described how she had “confused the idea” of the Royal Family as ordinary celebrities.

“I grew up in LA, you see celebrities all the time. This is not the same but it’s very easy, especially as an American, to go, ‘These are famous people’. This is a completely different ball game.”

She said that when she first met Harry, she “didn’t fully understand” what it meant to be a working royal.

In the interview, she stated, “Thank God I didn’t know a lot about the family.”

“Thank God I hadn’t researched. I would’ve been so in my head about it.”

Meghan also claimed in the interview that there were discussions inside the palace in the months preceding up to the birth of their baby not just about whether Archie would be granted a royal title and protection, but also about “how dark” his “skin might be when he is born.” She claimed she was informed of the concerns via Harry, but she refused to reveal who made the remarks, saying, “I think that would be very damaging to them.”
