The Duke of Sussex wants to be a part of next year’s four-day celebration for the Queen, as plans are published by Buckingham Palace.

There will be a lengthy weekend of festivities to commemorate Her Majesty’s 70 years of service to the nation, with Brits granted two days off work.

Despite the fact that he and Meghan have stepped aside as senior working royals, Prince Harry is reported to be keen to be a part of the formal festivities.

However, royal insiders are said to think such an arrangement would be “awkward.”

An insider said: “Harry wants to be there. It is already causing a headache and is going to be very awkward.

“Where will they be positioned if they turn up? What events can they attend?

“Will we put them on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the flypast?

“This is a celebration for the Queen’s 70 years of service to the nation and should not be overshadowed.

“There are now so many questions about what to do with Harry and Meghan.”

Celebrations to commemorate the Queen’s accession to the throne, which took place in 1953, will feature Trooping the Colour, the lighting of Platinum Jubilee beacons, and a thanksgiving ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral.

There will also be a Platinum Party at the Palace concert, a Jubilee lunch, and a pageant.

Since leaving Windsor and relocating to California, the pair has been vocal about perceived flaws in the royal family.

A royal analyst believes the Queen would not have approved of Meghan and Harry’s recent behavior.

In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, they discussed Meghan’s battle with mental health and how she was met with a lack of compassion.

“The Sussexes’ activities, when they’ve spoken out, have been very, very damaging. There’s no doubt about it,” Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Star.

When questioned whether Harry’s grandmother would have taken the couple’s remarks personally, Richard Fitzwilliams replied, “[The Queen] has realised how unhappy they were, but speaking out in the way they have is a totally different thing.”

Harry is in the UK for the inauguration of a monument of his mother Diana.

It was previously feared that Harry might not make if his wife Meghan had given birth so close to the date.

Russell Myers, the Mirror’s royal editor, speculated with stand-in presenter Cat Deeley on ITV’s Lorraine that Harry could skip the event.

He said at the time: “The thing I’m being told is they still really want to be there, both of them. Certainly, William and Kate will be there.

“But whether Harry can fly over there because the baby is imminently due this summer… it will certainly be seen in the next couple of weeks.”

I doubt anyone wants Markle to come to the UK. She is such a devious,
controlling woman that deserves everything thrown at her.

Out of respect for her majesty keep those two out of the Country, don’t even lay the decision on anyone, just ban them then everyone else can have a good time..
