Kate Middleton is seen as a “safe pair of hands” in the royal family’s “troubled times.”

“She is seen as a safe pair of hands in troubled times,” Claudia Joseph, author of Kate: Making of a Princess, told Vogue.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left their royal roles and headed to America, causing a year of drama for the Royal Family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also ignited new debate with their explosive Oprah Winfrey interview.

Last month, the Duchess of Cambridge celebrated a decade as a full member of the Royal Family.

On April 29, 2021, Kate and Prince William celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been referred to as a “peacekeeper” whose reputation has remained stable in public opinion.

According to a YouGov poll, 76% of respondents felt she would make a good Queen one day.

Kate is also among the top three most popular royals on a regular basis, trailing only the Queen and, on rare occasions, her husband.

Her role during Philip’s funeral was celebrated because she was able to facilitate a brief truce between warring brothers William and Harry in their first face-to-face encounter in over a year.

The Duchess was seen speaking with Prince Harry as they departed the ceremony, despite the fact that he had been shunned by other members of the family and had stepped aside so he and William could talk.

She also gave her father-in-law, Prince Charles, a peck on the cheek as he was overcome by sorrow.

Kate married William, the second in line to the throne, at Westminster Abbey.

After ten years, the couple has three children: Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, three.

Kate has devoted her charitable efforts to the early years, young people’s mental health, the visual arts, and the promotion of outdoor activities.

“They say cometh the hour, cometh the man. But in the Royal Family’s case, it’s a woman,” Brian Hoey, who has written a biography of Prince William, told The Sun after the funeral.

“Thank God for Kate — she is the rock the monarchy will depend on.

“On Saturday, she behaved absolutely impeccably.”

Penny Junor, a royal author, called the Duchess a “model of what a future queen should be”

“I think she’s been absolutely extraordinary and a model of what a future queen should be,” Ms Junor said.

“She has got such poise and elegance and she’s not in competition with William.

“She doesn’t seem to be seeking fame.”

“She has just got beautiful manners — taught by her mum Carole — and when she sees an awkward situation, she steps in,” said fellow specialist Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine.

Since Harry and Meghan Markle left their jobs as working royals, relations between the Cambridges and Sussexes have been strained.

The situation was made worse by their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.

It included a number of claims and accusations, including the suggestion that someone in the Royal family was upset about Harry and Meghan’s son Archie’s skin tone.
