A source revealed in the new edition of Us Weekly that Prince Harry has been “constantly doting” on Meghan Markle as she prepares to give birth to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s baby girl.

As they await a baby girl, the Duke of Sussex, 36, has taken on “the brunt of physical responsibilities, cooking for her and making her comfortable,” according to the source.

Last week, the Duke of Sussex returned to his new California residence after spending 10 days in the United Kingdom for Prince Philip’s funeral.

His brief visit to the UK was the first time he was seen with members of the Royal Family in over a year.

“Harry is helping out around the house. He’s always such a supportive partner, but when Meghan is pregnant, Harry takes on the brunt of physical responsibilities, cooking for her and making her comfortable,” the source says, adding that her mother, Doria Ragland, “hasn’t been around too much” in recent months even though she was thought to be providing a helping hand to the couple as they adjusted to their new US life.

“Meghan does yoga every day, sometimes twice a day, it’s what keeps her healthy both physically and mentally during the pregnancy,” the source says.

“This pregnancy has been a little easier than the last in terms of less morning sickness.”

After a miscarriage in the summer of 2020, Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, revealed in February that they are expecting their second child.

In March, Harry revealed that “it’s a girl” during a TV interview.

“Just to have a boy and a girl, what more can we ask for? We’ve got our family. We’ve got, you know, the four of us and our two dogs, and it’s great.”

Tensions had been building over their choice to step down as senior royals, which were highlighted when they said the Royal Family was racist in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Meghan’s mother was also described as a “tower of strength” for Harry, particularly while he was working out the arrangements of his royal departure.

According to another source, when Harry was forced to leave Meghan to attend his grandpa Prince Philip’s funeral, he had his family in California on his mind the whole time.

“He’s already really missing Meghan and Archie and has been FaceTiming them every day to check in,” a source told the magazine on April 12.

“He actually speaks to Meghan a few times a day because he worries [about] leaving her when she’s so far along in her pregnancy.”

Meghan, on the other hand, is “feeling much better” during this pregnancy than she did when she was expecting Archie in 2019.

Archie is reported to be “very excited to help” when he becomes a big brother.
