Katie Holmes is reportedly terrified that her daughter Suri Cruise is in danger. The 14-year-old was said to be at risk of being kidnapped by Scientologists, which would be a nightmare.

The headline of a Woman’s Day piece earlier this year yelled, “Suri’s Not Safe.” “Katie fears Scientologists are trying to lure her daughter back,” the subheading said. Suri appeared “spooked” and was “sprinting” down the street, according to the outlet, which released two photographs of the adolescent traversing the streets of New York City. Katie Holmes, according to the tabloid, was “nowhere in sight.”

People close to the Jack and Jill actress panicked on seeing the photos. According to sources, the mother and daughter are almost inseparable.

“Katie and Suri are usually inseparable,” an insider told the Australian magazine. “Obviously because they are really close, more like sisters sometimes. But also because Katie is fearful to let her out of her sight.”

The insider stated, “There is only one group of people that Holmes believes would inspire this level of fear in her daughter.” That would be the Scientologists, Holmes’ ex-husband Tom Cruise’s kin. According to the shady source, Holmes had long feared that adherents of her ex’s faith would try to persuade Suri to join their cause.

“Katie suspects the Scientologists are still keeping tabs on her and her daughter,” the insider revealed. “They watch the people after all – especially because when Suri becomes a legal adult, they will almost certainly lure her back.”

According to the source, the adolescent, who is “highly intelligent and worldly,” might have felt something was wrong and fled quickly. The Dawson’s Creek star, on the other hand, has always wanted to give her daughter the independence she deserves as she grows older.

Suri’s father, Cruise, “is so entrenched in the sect he is thought to be its second-in-command,” according to the outlet, thus persuading daughter to join the church would be a coup for the followers. The source proceeded in these lines, saying, “As the daughter of Tom Cruise, she is thought of as some kind of messiah.”

However, it was said that Katie Holmes did her best to teach her kid to be careful of strangers and not to trust them, and the actress seemed to be relieved.

Suri Cruise is 14 years old now. Her parents were divorced when she was approximately six years old, and she has had little to no contact with her father since then. Why should there be any concerns that Scientologists would suddenly decide to kidnap the adolescent off a major New York City street?
