Kendall Jenner is following in Jamie Foxx’s footsteps and blaming it on the booze.

Many fans were surprised when the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star got a “Meow” tattoo on the inside of her lower lip in 2016. Kendall confessed on Thursday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she was tattooed while under the influence.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star explained: “I was drunk. I was not thinking clearly.”

Despite DeGeneres’ reservations, Jenner stated that the placement of her tattoo reduced the amount of agony she had. Jenner admitted that the body art done on her fingers, where there is bone, hurt a little.

“It’s just, like, fattiness,” she said. “I don’t even know what this is. Is it muscle? Fat? Like, bone hurts really bad.”

Her fingers were covered with white tattoos, which she proudly displayed.

“All my friends have them,” she explained. “I was like, I just want to know what it feels like.”

DeGeneres, like the rest of the audience, was curious about one thing: why “meow,” and why on her lip. Jenner said, “It was literally the first thing that came to my mind. I don’t know — just like, my drunk thoughts… I felt like it would have been a good place to put something — I mean, it is something I don’t want said. Never mind. Forget it — I was going to say, like, a boyfriend’s name or something.”

The model got the word tattooed on her lip in July 2016, and she also has a few little tats on her hands that are done in white ink to blend in. “There’s no real meaning behind it, I just wanted to be able to say that I have a tattoo ‘on my face,’” she said. “I have two others also: a broken heart on one hand and a full heart on the other.”

Jenner continued, “I definitely want more and even though I used to say I’d only get one if it meant something to me, now I have even more possibilities!”

It comes after Kendall revealed that her mother, Kris Jenner, became enraged when she learned about her lip tattoo.

Kendall stated on her website at the time, “All my sisters knew… but my mom found out late and freaked out about it.

“There’s no real meaning behind it, I just wanted to be able to say that I have a tattoo ‘on my face!’

“I didn’t plan on telling anyone but, in an interview, I accidentally said something about it without even realizing. I guess I was just excited, lol.”
