Rock star Gene Simmons has stated that he will now accept a new type of payment from prospective buyers: Cryptocurrency, for his enormous Las Vegas Valley estate.

The iconic bassist/vocalist of the rock band KISS, has revealed that, in addition to fiat cash, digital assets may be used to acquire his $13.5 million mansion in Las Vegas. Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Polkadot (DOT), Litecoin (LTC), and other cryptocurrencies are accepted.

“The world is changing,” said Simmons.

“I have been an outspoken proponent of cryptocurrency from the beginning,” Simmons continued in a statement obtained by Blabbermouth on Tuesday (Feb. 1). “It is the future of money, and it just makes sense to offer interested parties the option of using cryptocurrency to purchase the estate.”

7 Talus Court in Henderson, Nevada is where the real estate asset is located.

The home is around 11,000 square feet, with three storeys, six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and eleven parking spaces.

The property was first advertised in October for $14,950,000. The property’s price was reduced in December, bringing it down to $13,500,000, where it presently stands.

The rock musician, dubbed “The Demon” by his followers, first expressed his support for the Bitcoin business in early 2021. He projected that Cardano would have its “most productive year” at the time. The protocol’s native token soared to an all-time high of nearly $3 towards the end of the summer, indicating that Simmons’ prediction was spot on.

In August, the artist said that he is interested in bitcoin as well. He stated that he had invested “a few million” in it and predicted that the major cryptocurrency would soon reach a value of $60,000. BTC even outperformed Simmons’ prediction, reaching a new all-time high of over $70,000.

Cryptocurrencies have taken a significant beating in recent weeks, which may surprise some, but not Simmons.

He said, “That’s nothing. I flew from New York and it’s a bumpy ride. It gets cold in the winter, but then spring and summer comes and it’s better than ever. When the dips come…I buy more. The train leaves whether you get on it or not.”
