Mila Kunis is married to Demi Moore’s ex-husband Ashton Kutcher, but instead of keeping their distance, they’re laughing to the bank together.

In AT&T’s most recent Super Bowl advertisement, Kunis and Moore give Kutcher a nod while revealing that they have more in common than just being married.

The advertisement, which ran late Friday night, features the two actors as themselves competing for the title of “most admired alum” during a mock high school reunion awards ceremony. Both ladies pretend to be humble before proceeding to the stage when the emcee announces the category, only for someone else to have their name called.

On stage, Demi said, “I had no clue that we attended to the same high school,” and Mila retorted, “We have a lot in common.” Both Demi and Mila appeared scared to see one other.

Fans are aware that Ashton and Demi were wed from 2005 until 2013. The actor married Mila two years after their divorce was completed; they have two children together: Wyatt, age 7, and Dimitri, age 5.

Both performers attended Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, which is what motivated Mila to ask Demi to participate in the ad. It turns out that the advertisement isn’t too far off the mark.

Moore dropped out in her junior year to focus on her career, while Kunis graduated in 2001 while co-starring with Kutcher on That ’70s Show.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Mila said that she was the one who came up with the concept, and Demi immediately embraced it.

“It was during my first collaboration meeting with AT&T that we discovered Demi was also a Fairfax High alum,” Mila stated.

“I thought it would bring humour and laughs to what was already a great ad. I reached out to her and was so delighted she jumped on board.”

“Who knew being a Fairfax alum would have brought this unexpected opportunity, to come together with Mila in such a fun and playful way?” Demi said.

Even though there was a brief hiccup when Moore revealed details of her marriage to Kutcher in her 2019 memoir and he didn’t have the best reaction, they separated on decent terms.

The ex spouses continue to collaborate on their Thorn: Digital Defenders of Children anti-human trafficking nonprofit, and Kunis has even previously defended their marriage.

In July 2018, the Bad Moms actress claimed her husband had a “normal, real relationship” with Moore on the WTF With Mark Maron program. “It was a normal life … he was younger, but he loved those kids,” she said, referring to Moore’s daughters Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis, who Kutcher said he still keeps in touch with. “I love them and I’m never going to stop loving them and respecting them and honoring them and rooting for them to be successful in whatever they are pursuing,” he said.

Mila previously shown that all parties involved get along well, having supported Ashton’s relationship with Demi in a podcast interview from back in 2018.

She said on the WTF Podcast that “they had, like, a normal, real relationship.”
