Tom Cruise is one of Hollywood’s longest lasting A-list action heroes, at the age of 59.

The actor was in attendance for Game 2 of the San Francisco National League Division Series on Saturday night.

The A-lister grinned for the camera while sitting next to his son Connor Cruise. Within minutes, social media was abuzz with news of Tom’s appearance, with many speculating that the “Mission: Impossible” star had undergone cosmetic surgery owing to his puffier-than-usual face. People contended that he looked “different.”

“What happened to Tom Cruise’s face? Cuz something definitely happened to Tom Cruise’s face,” one wrote.

Another tweeted: “I know I shouldn’t comment on a gentleman’s looks, but what happened to Tom Cruise’s face? I thought Scientology held the cure for everything including aging.”

Trending:

“Tom Cruise’s face looks like someone tried to draw 1984 Tom Cruise from memory,” the third one wrote.

‘Tom Cruise has either gained weight, or he has a face full of fillers. I’m going with the fillers,’ another said.

Another said, “What’s up with the bloated chipmunk cheeks?” A third said, “What he do to his face, same doctor as Wayne Newton?”

Some fans, however, have come to his rescue, saying, ‘“Listen i don’t like tom cruise at all (AT ALL), but i’m seriously sick of twitter trashing people for their weight fluctuations. people are allowed to gain and lose weight, and it’s really nunya!!! stop being fatphobic!”

“Tom Cruise putting some weight on in his face because he’s prob not filming a movie requiring him to be in not-human shape and getting memed all over for it feels awfully yucky to me,” another said.

Twitter

“Ok back the hell up people! He doesn’t look like he’s had fillers, he looks like he’s gained weight! Could be for a film role or could be he’s done back 2 back action movies for last 2 decades! He’s 59 years old! Body shaming men or women is not OK!” the third user wrote.

‘At first I felt a little bad that everyone was making fun of Tom Cruise’s face because it honestly looks like some sort of side effect to me,’ another Twitter user remarked.

They added: ‘But then I remembered he’s spent decades criticizing people for taking meds. Drag that pillow face.’

The last tweet was about Cruise’s remark about Brooke Shields.

After a public fight with Shields in 2005 about her use of pharmaceuticals to combat postpartum depression, Cruise had implied that the Church is against psychiatric medications.

“Tom should stick to saving the world from aliens and let women experiencing postpartum depression decide on the best treatment options for them,” Shields said at the time.

I said before Cruise had a hair transplant which he admits he does every 2 years. I’ve had many myself so without going into all the details, they give you prednisone to hold down the swelling that always takes place after taking long slices of flesh and hair along the scalp 2 days in a row, from the left side, next day the right side before the nurse cuts off the individual hair follicles and transplants them one at a time with a needle.
