Ricky Martin’s face is getting raked over the coals online.

In a recent appearance with Entertainment Tonight, the 49-year-old pop star looked to be unusually fat.

The ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ singer apparently couldn’t resist the impulse to get a few things done here and there, and the internet went crazy over his… not-so-successful plastic surgery.

People also noticed that he had shaved his beard and that his skin seemed softer and wrinkle-free. Netizens even compared the musician’s current appearance to previous photographs.

Someone on social media shared side-by-side photos of him and Marilyn Manson, while another just tweeted a screengrab and expressed disbelief, saying, “So you’re telling me this is Ricky Martin?”

‘wth did Ricky Martin do to his face!?!’ wrote another.

Another person, using a photo of Sarah Jessica Parker pondering as Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex and the City,” appeared genuinely worried for the Puerto Rican native’s well-being.

“Couldn’t help but wonder. Was Ricky Martin’s new face the sign of a new era?” wondered the caption of the keyboard warrior. “Is he still able to shake his bon bon or does he bang his feelings away now?”

“When it comes to plastic surgery, are we supposed to share our private emotion…or should we keep living la vida lockdown?” they added.

The singer’s agents, on the other hand, have denied the allegations. The singer was said to be suffering from allergies and skin irritation, which caused his face to look different than usual.

“Based on the events and replicas of erroneous news in different media, we are obliged to clarify that Ricky Martin did not perform any cosmetic surgery on his face,” Sportskeeda quotes.

“Before the interview he gave in Las Vegas, he had an allergic reaction, which as a consequence caused an inflammation of the dermis.”

Martin is in Las Vegas for publicity for his tour with Enrique Iglesias, which began Saturday, and the father of four may just be exhausted, for Pete’s sake.

Iglesias said earlier this month that his new album, Final, may be his last.

“There will be a volume 1 and a volume 2, but it will be the last,” Iglesias said of the album, which was released on September 17th.

“I am in that moment of my life, that chapter of my life, which I think is the right time to stop.”

In follow-up videos on his Instagram account, the singer seemed to be his normal self. He was seen chatting about his forthcoming tour dates while on his way to a concert in Chicago.
