Alexandra Daddario, who stars in HBO’s The White Lotus, has allegedly purchased an exquisite Hancock Park Mansion that was once owned by Shameless creator John Wells.

John Wells’ beautiful Hancock Park estate was sold for $7.3 million after less than two years of ownership. While that is more than the $7 million the prolific TV creator (“Shameless,” “The West Wing,” “ER”) paid in January 2020, it is also less than his roughly $7.9 million asking price, and an arguably very reasonable offer for a designer-renovated home in one of L.A.’s most elite neighborhoods.

Alexandra Daddario (“The White Lotus,” “San Andreas,” “Baywatch,” the “Percy Jackson” series, Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive”) and her boyfriend, film producer Andrew Form, turned out to be the discount-minded purchasers.

The Daddario-Form couple was in desperate need of a new house, which justifies their hefty real estate investment. The reason for this is because Daddario, 35, sold her $1.5 million Los Angeles home in December.

Daddario, who came to fame as Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson film series, was praised for her performance as Rachel Patton in the critically acclaimed satire comedy The White Lotus earlier this year. A second season has already been announced by HBO.

Form, 52, formerly resided in a $10 million Brentwood house with his wife Jordana Brewster. Brewster bought out Form’s 50 percent portion in the residence after the couple’s divorce was finalized in June.

The home is located in the middle of one of Hancock Park’s most famous streets. Behind well-kept hedges, it is well hidden from view. It was constructed in 1927. A stairway runs from the pavement through two magnificent Italian cypress trees. At the entryway, there are two beautiful olive trees. According to the ad, the property is decorated in a ‘French Mediterranean’ style. The grounds have a “French countryside” feel to them.

The living area has limestone-sheathed windows and a wood-burning fireplace, and it leads directly to the grounds and a private terrace.

The exterior’s architectural elegance contrasts with the interior’s distinctly contemporary and on-trend design. The mansion was created by high-powered L.A. architect William Hefner and his late Japanese interior designer Kazuko Hoshino, according to Dirt. Hoshino designed the interiors of the 5,300-square-foot property, which have been described as modest while treading a fine line between formal and casual. The mansion’s subtle ornamental elements are regarded as complimenting rather than conflicting with the property’s overall clean lines.

The main suite is on the second floor, with an open bedroom warmed by an enormous fireplace. A marble bath and a dressing room with bespoke built-ins are included in the package. The backyard’s century-old sycamore tree is seen from two separate “view terraces.”

The listing was held by Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland, and the purchasers were represented by Jonah Wilson of Hilton & Hyland.

Daddario and his partner Form are the latest celebs to call Hancock Park home. Boxing legend Muhammad Ali, singer Natalie Cole, actor Jake Gyllenhaal, and congressman Maxine Waters are just a few of the celebrities who have called the elite neighborhood home.
