Paris Hilton was the unfortunate target of a very heinous and horrific “prank” this week. During a segment for Egyptian TV star Ramez Galal’s show Ramez in Control, the socialite and heiress was made to think her plane was crashing and death was looming.

The presenter duped Hilton into thinking she was launching a hotel chain as part of the hoax, which was staged to force the Hilton Hotel empire heiress to take a plane flight.

She poses for pictures on the red carpet before being convinced to join a group of other guests for an aerial tour of the city.

She accepts and is seated next to Galal, who is mic’d and wearing sunglasses, in a little propeller plane.

The pilot then pretended that the jet was out of control and about to crash, which understandably freaked out Paris. This is everyone’s greatest fear, and someone decided it would be “funny” to make someone believe it was happening.

After many minutes of screaming, someone unlocks the plane’s back door and begins bringing passengers to the edge, where they are thrown out wearing parachutes.

Hilton is shocked by footage of a man in a parachute presumably leaping off the plane.

“No!” she screams.

‘I don’t want to jump’ shouts a panicked Paris. ‘I’m not jumping.’

Hilton is forced to brace in the emergency landing position as the plane lands, still screaming.
As she realizes the plane has landed safely, she can be heard thanking God.

‘I almost thought I was going to die. That’s been the biggest fear in my whole life, dying in a plane,’ Paris said Ramez after it was eventually discovered that it was all a hoax.

Paris is shown sobbing and heartbroken after the flight.
