Late actor Paul Walker’s brother, Cody Walker, and his wife Felicia have named their newborn son after the Fast & Furious star almost a decade after his tragic death at the age of 40.

The couple welcomed their baby boy on April 30th and decided to name him Paul Barrett “Bear” Walker.

According to Cody, he felt that the timing was appropriate as November marks a decade since his brother’s passing.

Cody is not the only member of the Walker family to honor the late actor in this way.

Paul was named after the brothers’ father, and their older brother Caleb Walker and his wife Stephanie named their eldest son Maverick Paul Walker, who is now 5.

The couple also has a daughter, Everly Grace Walker, who is 16 months old.

The first photo of baby Bear was shared by Felicia on her Instagram account a week after his birth.

The picture showed Bear’s older brother, Colt Knox Walker, holding him.

Cody and Felicia are also parents to a daughter named Remi Rogue Walker, who is 5 years old.

Paul Walker was a well-known actor and philanthropist, best known for his role in the Fast & Furious franchise.

He died in a car crash in Santa Clarita, California, on November 30th, 2013.

The accident occurred while he was attending a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide.
