Salma Hayek and François-Henri Pinault have been married for two years, but around the time they met in 2006, Pinault also had a relationship with supermodel Linda Evangelista.

Pinault reportedly got both women pregnant in 2006, resulting in the two now having 4-year-old children by Pinault.

Evangelista had previously kept Pinault’s identity as the father of her son, Augustin James Evangelista, a secret.

In fact, she had lied in interviews, claiming that the father was a “New York architect.”

However, Evangelista’s cover was blown when she appeared in a New York court to discuss a custody agreement with Pinault.

The court proceedings between Evangelista and Pinault have been ongoing, with at least three appearances at the court so far and no agreement being reached on custody plans.

This means that a support trial is likely. Pinault was not present at the most recent hearing, but the court action confirms that he is the father of Evangelista’s child.

According to the pregnancy timelines of both Evangelista and Hayek, Evangelista conceived her child in early 2006, while Pinault and Hayek were reportedly separated. Hayek became pregnant in late 2006 and gave birth to Valentina Paloma Pinault in September 2007.

It is unclear if Hayek knew about Pinault’s relationship with Evangelista at the time, but Hayek has stated in interviews that her husband has three children: their daughter and two children from a previous marriage that ended in 2004.

Pinault is the owner of luxury brands such as Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci, and has the financial means to care for his children.

Pinault and Hayek’s relationship has had its ups and downs, with the couple calling off their engagement in July 2008 before reconciling and getting married in February 2009 in a small town hall ceremony in Paris.

The couple later celebrated with a celebrity-filled party in Venice.

Pinault’s attorney, David Aronson, has declined to comment on the case, stating that it is a private matter between private individuals.
