Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s latest film, “Black Adam,” has reportedly caused some tension with his former co-star, Vin Diesel.

According to sources, Diesel has been feeling envious of Johnson’s success and is struggling to shake off feelings of inadequacy.

The insider claims that Diesel, whose real name is Mark Sinclair, has been trying to make connections with other high-profile actors in an attempt to outshine Johnson.

The source goes on to say that Diesel’s ego is fragile and he is unable to accept that Johnson is the more successful and well-regarded of the two.

The tension between the two actors is said to have started during the filming of “The Fate of the Furious,” and has only been exacerbated by Johnson’s recent box office success with “Black Adam.”

In 2016, Johnson called out his male co-stars on social media, claiming that some of them were not acting professionally and were too afraid to confront him about their issues.

The source goes on to say that Diesel has become obsessed with Johnson and that the feud is largely one-sided, with Diesel fixated on outdoing his former co-star.

The insider adds that it is sad to see the two actors at odds, as they were once colleagues and friends.

The conflict reportedly began when Johnson took issue with Diesel’s decision-making as an executive producer on the set of the Fast and Furious franchise.

The tension between the two reportedly reached a peak when Johnson claimed that Diesel had attempted to manipulate him into returning to the cast.

The confrontation reportedly stemmed from an Instagram post made by Diesel on November 7, 2021, in which he used an old screenshot of the two actors and urged Johnson to return for the final installment of the Fast and Furious series.

“My little brother Dwayne… the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house. There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don’t send well wishes… but the time has come. Legacy awaits.”

Diesel continued, “I told you years ago that I was going to fulfill my promise to Pablo (Paul Walker). I swore that we would reach and manifest the best Fast in the finale that is 10! I say this out of love… but you must show up, do not leave the franchise idle you have a very important role to play.”

He concluded, “Hobbs can’t be played by no other. I hope that you rise to the occasion and fulfill your destiny.”

According to Johnson, he had already privately discussed his decision not to return to the franchise with Diesel before the post was made.

The Fast and Furious franchise, which began in 2001, follows the lives of a group of street racers and criminals as they navigate the world of underground racing and heists.

The series has been a major commercial success, with several of the films breaking box office records and earning critical acclaim.

It is not uncommon for conflicts to arise on the set of major film productions, and it remains to be seen how the reported tension between Diesel and Johnson will affect the future of the Fast and Furious franchise.

Both Diesel and Johnson have enjoyed significant success in the entertainment industry.

Overall, the news of the reported feud between Diesel and Johnson has sparked discussion among fans and industry insiders alike. Many are curious to see how the situation will play out and whether the two actors will be able to move past their differences.
