Madonna, the iconic pop singer, recently gave an interview to The Sun UK in which she discussed her marriage to British director Guy Ritchie.

The couple was married for seven years and have a son, Rocco, together. In the interview, Madonna revealed that she felt “incarcerated” during the marriage.

Madonna said that like any relationship, her marriage to Ritchie involved sacrifices, but in her case, it affected her career.

“I think when you get married you have to be willing to make a lot of compromises and that’s fair enough,” she said.

“I think that’s the way it goes in relationships. However, you know, I did find myself sometimes in a state of conflict. There were many times when I wanted to express myself as an artist in ways that I don’t think my ex-husband felt comfortable with.”

The singer, who is known for her provocative and boundary-pushing performances, said that she often felt stifled by Ritchie.

“There were times when I felt incarcerated. I wasn’t really allowed to be myself,” Madonna said. Despite these challenges, Madonna said that she does not view marriage as a bad thing and would consider marrying again in the future.

“Maybe. Never say never,” she said. “I don’t have any limitations for myself in terms of relationships… I’m single. But I’d like to have a man around the house — that would be nice. My children like that and enjoy that.”

Madonna also discussed her current family situation, which she described as “unconventional.”

She is the mother of four children: Rocco, Lourdes, David, and Mercy. In addition to Ritchie and Rocco’s father Carlos Leon, Madonna said that she has “lots of father figures” in her children’s lives. “I’m the mom and the dad. I’m the husband and the wife. But we do have lots of father figures,” she said. “I have an unconventional family. I’ve always had an unconventional family. It is what it is.”

When asked about her ideal partner, Madonna said that she is looking for someone who is “nice and everything” and who is comfortable with her “kinky” sexual proclivities.

She cited her song “S.E.X.”, which appears on her latest album Rebel Heart, as an example of her personal experiences with such activities.

The song includes references to handcuffs, blindfolds, and leather belts. Despite this, Madonna said that she has never made a sex tape and has no plans to do so in the future.

“I’ve done a lot of sexually provocative things in my career,” she said. “But the idea of filming myself having sex doesn’t really turn me on. The ultimate act of intimacy is just to be with one person in a room without any electronics involved.”

Madonna also commented on the use of sex tapes by other celebrities as a way to gain fame, though she did not mention any names specifically. “At the beginning I think it was mistakes and then people realized how much publicity they could get out of it so it was sort of like: ‘I’ll make a sex tape and then it will accidentally get leaked,'” she said.

When asked about Kim Kardashian, who became famous in part due to a sex tape she made with Ray J, Madonna said that she is not familiar with Kardashian’s work.

“I’ve never watched the TV show. I’ve never seen her sex tape. I don’t know the things that have made her famous so I don’t have an opinion to tell you the truth,” Madonna said. “I know Kim. I’ve met her. I’ve had a few conversations with her. She’s a very sweet girl.”

Despite not being familiar with Kardashian’s reality show or sex tape, Madonna did mention that Kardashian’s husband Kanye West worked with her on her new album.
