Lil Uzi Vert’s $24 million forehead diamond was ripped from his head as he was diving into the crowd at Rolling Loud Miami in July.

The rapper claims he had a rock implanted as a dazzling face implant, stating he had saved for years for the pink gemstone and wanted it placed in his forehead because he was concerned he’d lose it otherwise.

In late August, Lil Uzi Vert, actual name Symere Bysil Woods, revealed the news while attending Jay-Z’s 40/40 club’s 18th anniversary.

He told TMZ about his performance in Miami in July, “I had a show at Rolling Loud (festival), and I jumped into the crowd and they kind of ripped it out.”

“I still have the diamond, so I feel good,” Uzi said when asked how he was feeling.

The Grammy-nominated musician flaunted his enormous pink diamond piercing into his forehead in a video posted on Instagram in February. He also showed his fans the gleaming new stone in videos on his Instagram Story at the time.

He captioned the original photo, which has since been removed from his Instagram profile, “𝕭𝖊𝖆𝖚𝖙𝖞 𝖎𝖘 𝖕𝖆𝖎𝖓 💎💕®️.”

The announcement comes nine months after Uzi stated that he had paid off a pink diamond he had financed through renowned jeweler Elliot Eliantte.

“I’ve been paying Elliot for a natural pink diamond for years now,” Uzi stated, saying that he began paying for the diamond in 2017. “This one Stone cost so much I’ve been paying for it since 2017. That was the first time I saw a real natural pink diamond. A lot of M’s in my face.”

As his fans began to doubt his judgment, the rapper featured in “Bad and Boujee” provided further facts about the diamond.

When a fan expressed concern about the stone’s worth, Lil Uzi Vert replied, “GIA Natural,” with a kissy face emoji, alluding to the Gemological Institute of America.

Since Uzi got the unusual piercing, fans have been wondering if it’s safe to have such a massive and complicated piercing so close to the brain.

However, Simon Bebaev, a spokeswoman for Eliantte & Co, the jewellers behind the implant, told Rolling Stone earlier this year that it’s as safe as any other piercing.

The diamond has been replaced by a barbell piercing.
