In their tumultuous TV appearance back in March, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed a series of shocking admissions. But Meghan is now being “exposed” over the “falsity” of her statements, according to historian Ruth Dudley Edwards.

The press has been cautious, fearful of being labeled racist or unconcerned about other people’s mental health, but they’ve progressively exposed the falsehood of some of the allegations.

Meghan is also accused by the historian of “persuading” Harry to “demand” that they move overseas while maintaining their royal position as a “high-earning celebrity couple.”

When the Queen declined they retaliated with the explosive interview, which the historian says is “backfiring.”

“When the Queen told them they could not have the royal cake and eat it, they retaliated by complaining to an audience of billions that they’ve been badly treated.

“It’s backfiring. Pity about Harry.”

Meghan’s allegation that she and Harry secretly married in their “backyard” days before their royal wedding was highlighted by Edwards.

Meghan’s account of the secret wedding in their “backyard” with just the Archbishop of Canterbury three days before the public event in Windsor has just been debunked by the former official who issued the public event’s license: “What I suspect they did was exchange some simple vows they had perhaps written themselves, and which is fashionable, and said that in front of the archbishop or, and more likely, it was a simple rehearsal.”

Meghan’s claim that Archie was not made a prince due of his ethnicity was also referenced by the historian.

Meghan said, “we have in tandem the conversation of ‘he won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he was born”.

This was mentioned before to Harry’s presence.

However, owing to regulations established more than a century ago by King George V, the Sussexes’ son, who is seventh in line to the throne, is not eligible to be an HRH or a prince.

It was heartbreaking to have the family accused of racism.

It was graciously challenged by the Queen.

Meghan’s assertion that she no longer had access to personal items such as her passport after joining the Royal Family was also questioned by Ms Dudley Edwards.

How did she make 80 visits overseas, including a $500,000 baby shower in New York, if her passport was taken and never returned, and she wasn’t permitted out for months?
