Jason Momoa has revealed that he will not let his children to watch Baywatch, and quipped that his appearance on the program ‘never happened.’

Jason and his wife Lisa Bonet have a 14-year-old daughter Lola and a 12-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf, and despite his enormous success, Jason is adamant that his children will only watch a few of his works.

According to E! News, the actor was speaking with presenter Wippa on the Australian radio show “Fitzy and Wippa.”

“They’re gonna see a lot things that Papa’s been doing,” Momoa said of his children, referring to recent flicks “Sweet Girl” and “Dune.”

“What’s the feedback you’ve got from your kids on Baywatch mate? questioned presenter Wippa afterwards.

Talking to a seemingly half cut Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli after having a ‘cocktail hour’ Momoa said: “We don’t say the B word here. We hide all of that mate! Never happened mate!”

Jason’s first big break in Hollywood came with his role in “Baywatch” in which he co-starred with David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, and it’s not the only huge project he wants to keep a secret.

“We don’t talk about those words, the B word didn’t happen,” he added.

“They’re not going to watch ‘Game of Thrones’ either, even though it’s fantastic,” he continued.

“But you know, there’s stuff that you just… they can’t watch ‘Conan [the Barbarian’]. So right now, superheroes and on, we’re good.”

The actor does not want his children to follow in his footsteps in the entertainment industry. “One of them wants to do it and I’m not a fan. I don’t want them to.” In a different interview, he stated, “I’ll try my damnedest to keep ’em out of it. I love storytelling, I love theatrical things, I like directing and filmmaking, but I just want them to, you know, really to go for other things.”

“It’s very hard on people and I don’t want them to have that pressure. I’m tough, I can handle it, but I wouldn’t want to put someone I love (through) that.”

During the interview, Wippa’s wife appeared unexpectedly and barged into the room to talk with the Honolulu, Hawaii native.

“Hang on, my wife has just walked in, she was responsible for the eyebrow,” Wippa stated, alluding to the shaved area of his eyebrow that he had done to resemble the star’s famous eyebrow scar.

“Do you want to ask Jason a question honey?” Wippa said as his wife Lisa appeared on camera.

“Hi how are you Jason? Congratulations on the movie,” she said.

“This might sound really creepy, but when Covid-19 is over you’re more than welcome to stay with us… we have a spare bedroom.”
