On Tuesday, Johnny Depp’s former business managers countersued the actor, saying that his extravagant lifestyle, which costs more than $2 million per month to maintain, was the source of his recent financial difficulties, and that the celebrity ignored their repeated warnings.

The Management Group’s countersuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court around two weeks after Depp sued the corporation, alleging egregious mismanagement of his revenues.

According to the lawsuit, Depp spent more than $75 million to acquire and maintain residences on a network of islands and spends $30,000 per month on wine.

According to the documents acquired by the Daily News, he also spent more than $18 million to buy and remodel a 150-foot luxury boat and $3 million to blow the ashes of novelist Hunter S. Thompson out of a cannon over Aspen, Colorado.

Despite being repeatedly warned by the company that his spending was out of control, he rejected the advice, according to the suit. “Depp, and Depp alone, is fully responsible for any financial turmoil he finds himself in today,” they continued.

“He has refused to live within his means, despite… repeated warnings about his financial condition,” their countersuit argues.

They also encouraged him to seek a pre-nup before marrying Amber Heard. After the former couple divorced last year, Johnny was forced to pay a $7 million settlement.

On January 13, Depp filed a lawsuit against The Management Group, alleging mismanagement of more than $25 million.

Johnny’s complaint also accuses TMG of paying itself over $28 million in fees without his authorization, as well as failing to pay the actor’s taxes on time, resulting in a $5.6 million fine and penalties. He also says that the firm loaned money to others without his permission.

According to Johnny’s lawsuit, “In essence, TMG treated Mr. Depp’s income as their own, available to either TMG or third parties to draw upon as desired.”

However, according to the countersuit, Depp’s tax returns were always submitted on time and taxes were paid when the celebrity had the funds to do so.

TMG is demanding that Johnny pay over $560,000 in allegedly unpaid commissions and credit card fees.

Depp’s newest legal dispute follows his divorce from Amber Heard, which was finalized in January after months of battling.

The 53-year-old will next be seen as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge, which will be released later this year.
