Anna Paquin shows off her beautified Oscar statuette with Makeup & Lashes

When she won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her part in The Piano at the age of 11, she became the second-youngest Academy Award winner in history, after beating out Emma Thompson and Holly Hunter.

The 31-year-old True Blood actress applied makeup and fake lashes on her golden man, and we now have a photo to see how it turned out.

‘He is still sitting in our kitchen where @amynadine applied fake lashes to him Oscar night this year. normally in our room,’ the 31-year-old True Blood actor answered to a fan on Twitter when asked where she kept her Oscar.

The actress also shared a photo of the statuette with artificial eyelashes that was uploaded by Nadine.

“I love that you didn’t take them off!” Nadine tweeted.

Anna has later stated that she felt nervous and overwhelmed by the event.

She once commented, ‘It was really scary. I remember being very very worried I wasn’t going to be able to say anything.

‘I was a very shy, very, very young 11. I don’t think I had ever seen so many people at one time and to have them all sitting there waiting for me to say something. It was awful.’

Paquin returned to the international stage at the age of 18 when she secured the role of mutant Rogue in X-Men, a role she reprised in the sequel X2 and the 2006 film X-Men: The Last Stand.

She and her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer are the parents of 22-month-old twins. Paquin is also the stepmother to Moyer’s two children from a previous relationship.
