Justin Bieber may be a world traveler, but geography does not appear to be one of his strong suits.
Justin Bieber appeared on David Letterman’s Late Show this evening for a conversation. Bieber claimed to have visited “every continent” at one point.
Dave used the chance to ask him how many of those there are. Bieber started, ““Asia, North America, South America, um, Africa, Antarctica, and the North Pole.” After being buzzed for his incorrect answer, he tried “Canada,” then “Australia,” and finally “Europe,” but only after Letterman gave him a hint.
Letterman told the young star, “Here, you actually learn something.”
To be fair to Justin, he did eventually learn about all seven continents, so it’s not as bad as the time he reportedly forgot what Germany is.
Despite an internet campaign to send Bieber to Somalia, North Korea, or Antarctica, it’s unknown if the teenager has ever visited the world’s southernmost continent.
